The Kenyan Collection - Peacock Argyle Beaded Dog Collar Introducing The Peacock Argyle Beaded Dog Collar: featuring vibrant peacock colors in shades of blue and green. The beads are arranged in a classic Argyle pattern, creating a visually striking design. This collar combines the rich, iridescent hues of peacock feathers with a timeless geometric pattern, making it a stylish and eye-catching choice for your dog. Sizing instructions: https://www.thekenyancollection.com/pages/sizing-instructions Each dog collar is available in four different widths to suit your pet's comfort and style: Narrow: 1/2" wide Standard: 3/4" wide Wide: 1" wide Lurcher: 2" wide, tapering to 3/4" at the buckle Each creation is meticulously handcrafted by skilled Maasai Mamas using premium, durable leather, with hand-cast buckles and clasps. Crafting one collar takes a Maasai Mama about a day, while a belt requires two days of dedicated beading. The beads are carefully hand-sewn onto the first layer of leather, followed by the addition of high-quality hardware and a second leather layer, which is glued and stitched for added softness and durability. Our Maasai Mamas are encouraged to infuse each piece with their personal artistic touch, preserving the rich heritage and cultural integrity of their work. This commitment to individuality means that slight variations in design are part of the charm and uniqueness of each item, ensuring that no two are ever the same. The Significance of Color: Blue: Mirrors the sky, providing water and sustenance for both the Maasai people and their livestock. Green: Echoes the land that nurtures and sustains life, signifying nourishment, growth, and territorial protection. Our Products are more than just accessories—they are crafted to be cherished and enjoyed. While we keep a significant stock on hand, some items may need to be custom-made in Kenya. If your order requires production, we will notify you within 48 hours. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our handcrafted collection.
