HPC Fire Rectangle H-Burner Unfinished LPT Fire Pit Enclosure The HPC Fire Rectangle H-Burner Unfinished LPT Fire Pit Enclosure (frequently designated as a Liquid Propane Tank Ready-to-Finish or RTF kit) is a commercial-grade, structurally sound outdoor layout system manufactured by Hearth Products Controls (HPC). Explicitly engineered for professional hardscape builders, landscape contractors, and DIY outdoor designers, this premium framework removes the complex and time-consuming process of framing on-site. The defining highlight of this LPT (Liquid Propane Tank) model is its specialized internal cavity layout, designed with an integrated access hatch door. This allows you to completely conceal a standard 20-lb liquid propane tank inside the linear footprint, avoiding the need for an external gas line connection or an ugly auxiliary tank cover sitting out on the patio. Structural Framework & Finishing Freedom Concealed Internal Propane Tank Vault: Engineered to satisfy strict safety codes, the interior framing features an integrated slide-out floor dock layout or secure bay to house a vertical 20-lb liquid propane tank right inside the chassis structure. Industrial Galvanized Skeleton: Built around an industrial, heavy-duty 22-gauge galvanized steel welded framework. This structural core guarantees exceptional weight load distribution and remains entirely immune to structural sagging, warping, or joint degradation over decades of outdoor exposure. Pre-Sheathed Cement Board Skin: Wrapped in non-combustible, 1/2" thick Hardieboard cement sheets. This establishes an optimal, porous outdoor-rated bond coat surface that directly accepts exterior masonry veneers, including natural chopped stone, synthetic stacked ledge stone, porcelain slate tile, brick pavers, or outdoor stucco. Integrated Safety Ventilation: The lower frame incorporates pre-cut air tracks. Included louvers satisfy structural ventilation code standards, actively exhausting heavy propane vapors out of the interior storage cavity to prevent dangerous gas pooling and back-flashes. The Dual-Lane H-Burner Layout & Torpedo Option Full-Bodied H-Burner Profile: Rather than a thin single-line straight linear track, this enclosure features a dual-lane branch format pan. By firing two parallel tracks of staggered burner gas ports linked across a central fuel bridge, it fills out the rectangular footprint perfectly, creating a dense sheet of flame with exceptional visual depth. Optional High-Velocity Torpedo Nozzles: Standard packages feature high-efficiency drilled ports, but configurations can be upgraded to include HPC's Torpedo Nozzle Burners. Torpedo models swap open orifices for precision-machined brass jets that drastically expand gas velocity, throwing tall, roaring, robust flames that mirror a real wood campfire. Choose Your Core Burner Ignition Platform This unfinished LPT enclosure package comes pre-equipped from the factory with a matching, fully certified 16-gauge 304 stainless steel rectangular drop-in pan and burner array, selectable across distinct ignition tracks: Platform A – Smart Electronic Ignition (EI - On/Off or Hi/Lo): The premier automated ecosystem. Features a hot surface igniter (HSI) with a robust thermocouple pilot track and smart flame sensing. Outfitted with an on-board smart internal antenna, users can execute wireless on/off or variable flame-height toggling via a handheld remote control or a smartphone/tablet using the free HPC Fire Bluetooth App. Platform B – Push-Button Flame Sensing (FPPK): A premium safety mechanical track. Ignites via a battery-powered push-button spark generator, while an integrated thermocouple flame-sensor constantly monitors the fire. If the wind blows the flame out, it instantly cuts off the gas flow to prevent accidents. Platform C – Traditional Match Lit (MLFPK): The ultimate heavy-duty analog format. Completely free of internal electrical loops, battery modules, or wiring lines, this system relies on a physical match or torch wand for starting. Gas volume and thermal height are managed via a decorative solid brass key valve mounted cleanly onto the enclosure's outer face. Technical Specifications & Dimensions Standard Outer Enclosure Dimensions: 60” Long x 24” Wide x 24.5” High (Note: Height scales slightly taller than the standard 18" enclosures to provide enough clearance to house a standard vertical 20-lb propane tank securely) Matching Stainless Steel Pan Metric: Features an integrated rectangular drop-in pan tailored precisely to nest above the utility tank frame chamber. Total Thermal Output Capacity: Generates a robust 90,000 to 140,000 BTUs maximum depending on fuel input adjustments and sizing choices. Base Unit Weight: Approx. 165 lbs (Pre-cladding weight—solidly balanced to stay structurally stable against seasonal wind and frost shifts).
