HPC Fire Round Flat Fire Pit Burner Kit (Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition) The HPC Fire Round Flat Fire Pit Burner Kit with Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition is a commercial-grade, architectural outdoor fire insert manufactured by Hearth Products Controls (HPC). Engineered specifically for seamless, flush-mount integrations within custom masonry blocks, stone surrounds, or concrete fire pit islands, this premium kit features a clean, ultra-low-profile round flat plate (pan) design. The system centers on HPC's advanced Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition (EI) system, which utilizes a built-in antenna to unlock full, smart-device wireless command right from your patio cushion. Intelligent Hi/Lo Ignition & Smart Telemetry Two-Way Bluetooth App Integration: Outfitted with an on-board smart antenna that syncs with the free, proprietary HPC Fire smartphone app (iOS and Android). It provides a reliable connection from up to 20 feet away, giving you total control over power, timing, and wireless diagnostic troubleshooting. 40% Variable Flame Turndown: Includes a dedicated handheld smart remote. Unlike basic static on/off burner systems, the Hi/Lo fuel track allows for custom dual-stage flame scaling. The "HI" setting maximizes output for roaring thermal heat, while the "LO" setting cuts the flame and gas volume down by 40% to 45% for a softer, intimate ambient glow. Hot Surface Ignition & Flame Sensing Safety: Uses a robust Hot Surface Igniter (HSI) paired with an advanced internal thermocouple pilot loop. The safety sensor constantly monitors the active flame path. If an aggressive gust of wind blows out the fire, the smart valve automatically shuts down gas flow to prevent dangerous pooling, then safely initializes an automatic re-light sequence. Internal Temperature Auto-Shutoff: Housed inside the sealed electronics hub are internal safety sensors that monitor operating vitals. If the enclosure gets too hot due to poor lower ventilation or excess media coverage, the system shuts down immediately to protect the electronic boards. Performance Hardware & Burner Elements Exclusive Torpedo Nozzle Option: Available in both traditional high-efficiency configurations and upgraded Torpedo Burner systems. Torpedo variants feature specialized, precision-engineered brass nozzles that significantly increase gas velocity. This produces tall, robust, roaring flames reminiscent of a real wood-burning fire. Campfire-Style Penta Burner Layout: Standard on packages sized 19 inches and larger is HPC's iconic Penta Burner architecture. Machine-welded from premium 304 stainless steel with staggered burner ports, its unique five-point design draws the flames toward the center to mimic a natural, warm, and inviting wood campfire. Heavy-Duty Spun Round Flat Pan: Precision-crafted from thick commercial-grade 304 stainless steel, the flat drop-in plate provides a perfectly flush layout for structural support. It is outfitted with integrated weep holes for quick water drainage and a specialized raised center burner hub to stop rain from entering the primary gas line manifold. Technical Specifications & System Scaling Sizing Footprint & Thermal Range Estimates (Dependent on Configuration): 18" Flat Pan (with 12" Burner Hub): Up to 90,000 BTUs 24" Flat Pan (with 18" Burner Hub): Up to 140,000 BTUs 30" Flat Pan (with 24" Burner Hub): Up to 225,000 BTUs 36" Flat Pan (with 30" Burner Hub): Up to 275,000 BTUs 42" Flat Pan (with 36" Burner Hub): Up to 375,000 BTUs 54" Flat Pan (with 48" Burner Hub): Up to 400,000 BTUs Chassis Material Grade: 100% weather-resistant, non-corrosive premium 304 stainless steel pan plate, burner rails, and protective sealed lower valve box. Dedicated Fuel Utility Options: Built and safety-tested at the factory for either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane (LP) Hardline setups. Propane models include an integrated wire mesh spider guard to prevent pests from nesting inside the gas orifice. Power Supply Track Setup: Available in standard residential 120 VAC (equipped with a 3-prong outdoor-grounded GFCI plug-in cord) or a low-voltage 24 VAC track (ideal for installations near pool zones or water features; requires an external step-down power supply transformer, sold separately). Logistics & Manufacturer Warranty Turnkey Delivery Assembly: Ships fully pre-assembled right out of the box with the flat pan, burner, and sealed control box pre-plumbed, alongside a matching flex line, 3/4" female NPT fittings, a smart handheld remote, and an installation manual. HPC Industry-Leading Warranty: * Limited Lifetime Warranty: Protects the 304 stainless steel gas burners and flat plates for life. 3-Year Electronics Warranty: Safeguards the internal electronic modules under residential use. 2-Year Pilot System Warranty: Protects hot surface igniters, thermocouples, and pilot assembly housings.
