HPC Fire Linear Trough Torpedo Fire Pit Kit (Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition) The Linear Trough Torpedo Drop-In Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition Fire Pit T-Burner Kit by HPC Fire (SKU: TOR-24SSEI-TRGH-HI/LO Series) is a commercial-grade, intelligent gas fire pit insert manufactured by Hearth Products Controls (HPC). Engineered specifically for sleek, modern rectangular fire pit tables, long linear stone enclosures, or poolside accent features, this premium system integrates a deep, drop-in structural trough pan with a high-performance linear burner track. This flagship setup combines HPC's signature high-velocity Torpedo Nozzle technology with an advanced Hi/Lo Electronic Ignition (EI) network, bringing multi-stage flame automation and wireless smart telemetry right to your fingertips. High-Velocity Torpedo Nozzles & Linear T-Burner Geometry Roaring Torpedo Flame Booster: Torpedo configurations swap standard drilled burner ports for precision-engineered, heavy-duty brass nozzles. These specialized jets dramatically increase gas-to-oxygen velocity, throwing extra-tall, robust, roaring flames that replicate the visual presence, movement, and heat radiation of an authentic bonfire. Wall-Of-Fire Linear T-Burner: Features a heavy-gauge center-line pipe rail burner. By firing high-velocity flames uniformly across a long straight track, it maximizes spatial visual depth across narrow rectangular openings, eliminating cold sections along the fire line. Deep Drop-In Trough Lip Pan: Unlike low-profile flat plates, this system features a structural trough basin measuring 5.4" Wide with a deep side recess and a 1.5-inch integrated perimeter support rim. This lip allows the insert to hang securely from the top cutout opening of your non-combustible enclosure while neatly concealing all electronic gas plumbing valves. Advanced Hi/Lo Ignition & Smart Telemetry Two-Way Bluetooth App Connectivity: Outfitted with an integrated smart internal antenna inside a weather-sealed lower control box, the system seamlessly pairs with the proprietary, free HPC Fire smartphone app (iOS and Android). This allows you to safely light or extinguish your fire pit from up to 20 feet away, program countdown sleep timers, track real-time operations, and run live diagnostics. 45% Variable Flame Height Turndown: Includes a dedicated handheld smart remote control. While baseline gas fire pits only provide static on/off limits, the Hi/Lo electronic module features a variable fuel track. You can select "HI" mode for roaring heat or dial the flames back down by 45% to lower gas consumption and generate an intimate ambient glow. Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) & Auto-Relight Protection: Uses a highly durable hot surface igniter paired with an advanced pilot flame loop and internal thermocouple. The safety module constantly monitors the fire path. If a sudden storm draft or gust of wind blows out the flame, the gas valve instantly closes to prevent pooling, then initializes a safe, immediate automatic re-ignition sequence. Overheat Diagnostic Auto-Shutoff: Integrated internal thermal diagnostics continuously monitor control box operating metrics. If improper fire media nesting or poor base ventilation causes heat to spike beyond safe boundaries, the system executes an emergency shutoff to protect the digital board components. Technical Specifications & Sizing Scaling Trough Pan Length Profiles & Total Thermal Outputs (Dependent on Sizing): 24" Trough Pan (with 24" T-Burner): Fires up to 75,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 20 lbs of fire glass) 36" Trough Pan (with 36" T-Burner): Fires up to 115,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 30 lbs of fire glass) 48" Trough Pan (with 48" T-Burner): Fires up to 150,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 40 lbs of fire glass) 60" Trough Pan (with 60" T-Burner): Fires up to 175,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 40 lbs of fire glass) 72" Trough Pan (with 72" T-Burner): Fires up to 200,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 50 lbs of fire glass) 96" Trough Pan (with 96" T-Burner): Fires up to 300,000 BTUs (Holds approx. 60 lbs of fire glass) Chassis Material Composition: 100% heavy-gauge, weather-resistant commercial-grade #304 stainless steel pan, burner rails, and weather-sealed lower valve control box. Fuel Utility Calibration: Factory-built, safety-tested, and serialized precisely for either Natural Gas or Liquid Propane (LP) Gas HARDLINE connections. Power Supply Track Infrastructure: Requires dedicated electricity to activate. Selectable at purchase for either standard 120 VAC (equipped with a 3-prong outdoor-grounded GFCI plug cord) or a low-voltage 24 VAC track (ideal for pool zones; requires an external step-down transformer box, sold separately).
