Britney Spears Curious Eau de Parfum 100ml is the singer's debut 2004 fragrance, signed by perfumer Claude Dir and produced in collaboration with Elizabeth Arden. A bright, sheer floral opening of magnolia, pear and lotus leads into a creamy white-floral heart of jasmine, tuberose and cyclamen, before settling into a clean, comforting base of musk, vanilla, white woods and sandalwood — the original launch was the best-selling women's fragrance of 2004 in US department stores. About Britney Spears Fragrances Britney Spears launched her first fragrance, Curious, in 2004 in partnership with Elizabeth Arden, and the line has since become one of the most commercially successful celebrity scent franchises ever produced. Curious sits at the heart of the brand's catalogue and has spawned a long list of flankers since launch, but the original remains a cult favourite for its soft white-floral character. Fragrance notes Top: Magnolia, Pear, Lotus Heart: Jasmine, Tuberose, Cyclamen Base: Musk, Vanilla, White Woods, Sandalwood Olfactory family: Floral | Launched: 2004 | Perfumer: Claude Dir Who it's for Curious suits women looking for a sheer, romantic floral signature with a soft, slightly clean drydown. The composition reads as feminine and grown-up rather than overtly sweet, making it a particularly safe everyday choice for spring and autumn, comfortable in office, daytime and casual evening contexts. Anyone drawn to fragrances such as Marc Jacobs Daisy or Calvin Klein Eternity will recognise the territory. How to wear it Hold the bottle around 15 cm from the skin and spray onto pulse points — wrists, neck, and behind the ears. Apply to clean, moisturised skin straight after a shower for the longest wear. Two sprays usually balance well; the white-floral heart blooms on warm skin and the soft musk-and-sandalwood drydown develops over the first hour.
