Two components. The ambidextrous Partisan Disruptor and the KAK Industry K-SPEC BCG — the first bolt carrier group ever engineered specifically for forced reset triggers. Drop both in, keep the standard 3oz buffer that's already in your rifle, and run. No H2. No H3. No tuning. Why There's No Buffer in This Combo Every FRT combo on the market ships with a heavy buffer because every FRT needs one — the extra weight slows the bolt enough for the reset mechanism to engage. Get the weight wrong and the trigger doesn't reset. FRT builders spend hours chasing buffer weight, spring rate, and gas. The KAK K-SPEC does that job inside the BCG. A patented floating weight in the carrier tail creates a dead-blow effect that kills bolt bounce mechanically — the exact thing an H2 or H3 buffer is trying to do from the other end. With the K-SPEC, your stock 3oz carbine buffer already provides correct timing. Patent US 12,474,132 B2. Two parts instead of three. The simplest FRT install we sell. This Combo vs. a Standard 3-Piece FRT Combo ✓ This Combo 2 Ambi Disruptor + KAK K-SPEC BCG. Keep your stock buffer. Drop in, done. Buffer weight eliminated as a variable. Standard FRT Combo 3 Disruptor + M16 BCG + H2 or H3 buffer. Works great — but you're picking a buffer weight, and if your rifle runs different than expected, you're tuning. ✓ Federally Legal — May 2025 DOJ Settlement Federally legal following Garland v. Cargill and the DOJ settlement. No NFA tax stamp required. State restrictions apply — we verify compliance on every order and do not ship to restricted states. Save vs Buying Separately Ambi Disruptor $325.00 + KAK K-SPEC BCG $199.99 = $524.99. Bundled at $479.99 — save $45. Best authorized dealer price online. Choose Your Trigger Color Black Ambi Disruptor Green Ambi Disruptor What's in the Combo — 2 Components, 1 Order Ambi Disruptor FRT — Ambidextrous Forced Reset Trigger The Triggered Company's ambidextrous Partisan Disruptor. Bilateral selector for left or right hand operation. Same patented drop-in cassette design, same 3-position function (Safe / Semi / Enhanced Semi), same 17-4 stainless + 4140 chromoly construction, same ~1,150 RPM cyclic rate. 3.75–4.1 lb pull in semi. Anti-walk pins with T-10 Torx included. US Patent 9146067. Black or Green. 100% USA made. KAK Industry K-SPEC BCG — First BCG Built for FRT Patented floating dead-blow carrier weight eliminates bolt bounce — no heavy buffer required. 9310 steel bolt (MPI tested, shot peened), 8620 chrome-lined carrier ground to .0002", M16 full-auto profile, S7 tool steel ejector, downward gas vents for reduced blowback and quieter suppressed report. Runs suppressed or unsuppressed with zero gas or recoil tuning. Machined in-house in Missouri. Patent US 12,474,132 B2. 14.5oz. 100% USA made. Install — 3 Steps Drop the Ambi Disruptor cassette into your mil-spec lower and insert the anti-walk pins Install the KAK K-SPEC BCG in your upper Keep your standard 3oz carbine buffer. Function check. Done. If your rifle already has an H2 or H3, you can run it — but you don't need it. If you experience over-buffering, drop to the standard buffer. Why Ambi Left or right hand selector operation — bilateral lever, no modification. Switch hands, switch shoulders, the selector is where your thumb expects it Same Disruptor internals — nothing changes about how the trigger fires or resets. The ambi selector is the only difference from the standard Disruptor Consistent selector feel both sides — clean detents in Safe / Semi / Enhanced Semi from either lever Why the K-SPEC Is the Right BCG for This Combo Dead-blow carrier tail — Patent US 12,474,132 B2 — the core innovation. Floating weight counteracts bolt bounce at the rear of travel. This is what makes a standard buffer work with an FRT Tested with major FRT systems — KAK verified with Hoffman Super Safety, AS Designs ARC-Fire, Atrius FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. The Disruptor uses the same forced reset principle Downward gas venting — gas ports relocated to the underside of the carrier. Less gas to the face, quieter suppressed Suppressor-ready with zero tuning — no gas block adjustment, no spring swap. Same BCG, suppressed or not 9310 steel bolt, MPI tested, shot peened — highest-strength bolt steel, inspected for defects, surface hardened 8620 chrome-lined carrier, .0002" tolerances — rails, bolt run, and gas bores ground to precision spec Made in Missouri — machined entirely in-house on Doosan and Tsugami equipment with FANUC robotics. Cargill explained Frequently Asked Questions Why doesn't this combo include a buffer? Because it doesn't need one. The KAK K-SPEC's patented floating dead-blow weight eliminates bolt bounce inside the BCG itself — the job an H2 or H3 buffer normally does for an FRT. Your standard 3oz carbine buffer already provides the correct timing. Two components instead of three. Nothing to tune. What is the Ambi Disruptor? The Triggered Company's ambidextrous Partisan Disruptor — same patented FRT cassette with a bilateral selector for left or right hand operation. Same function, same construction, same cyclic rate. Black or Green. Has the KAK K-SPEC been tested with the Disruptor? KAK tested the K-SPEC with the Hoffman Super Safety, AS Designs ARC-Fire, Atrius FRS, and Rare Breed FRT. The Disruptor uses the same forced reset principle as the Rare Breed — KAK states similarly designed systems should work. Individual rifles may need fine-tuning, but the K-SPEC removes buffer weight from the equation. What if my rifle already has a heavier buffer? You can run the K-SPEC with an H2 or H3 — but you don't need to. It's designed for the standard 3oz buffer. If you experience over-buffering (short-stroking, failure to lock back), drop to the standard buffer. Is the Ambi Disruptor legal? Yes — federally legal following the May 2025 DOJ settlement and Garland v. Cargill. One round per trigger function, no NFA tax stamp. State restrictions apply — we verify on every order. Is everything USA made? Yes. The Ambi Disruptor is made by The Triggered Company in the USA. The KAK K-SPEC is machined entirely in-house in Missouri. 100% USA made. Also Available KAK K-SPEC BCG Standalone — $199.99 Disruptor + M16 BCG + Tungsten H2 Combo — $449.99 Disruptor + M16 BCG + Tungsten H3 Combo — $469.99 Disruptor Standalone — $299.99 Installation Resources → FRT Install Guide → FRT Not Resetting? → Troubleshooter Forced reset triggers require one trigger function per round fired and operate as semi-automatic devices. State restrictions apply — it is the buyer's responsibility to comply with all applicable laws. We verify compliance and do not ship to restricted states. KAK Industry's FRT testing results are based on their testing conditions and may not reflect every rifle configuration — individual firearms may require fine-tuning.
