This model tool is an etched sheet forming vise built for working with photo etched parts that need careful shaping. Its elongated rectangular body gives it a solid working profile, while the red top section, dark foundation section, and two blue knob fasteners create a clear, functional layout at the worktable. As a bending vise, it supports controlled forming so delicate pieces can be shaped with more confidence and less slipping. The photo etched sheet vise also features multiple curved grooves of different diameters along one lengthwise edge, making it easier to match different bend sizes and bend configurations during model assembly. For repeated detail work, the model bending vise offers a practical way to keep bends consistent from one piece to the next. The curved groove design adds versatility for everyday modeling tasks, especially when a project calls photo etched, repeatable curves rather than freehand bending. The pictured size is 138 mm by 59 mm, giving a compact footprint for work on the modeling table.
