The Awntech Wind Sensor is designed to be a safety feature for patio retractable awnings. This sensor gauges wind speed and will retract the patio retractable awning when the sensors' dial hits wind speeds up to 25 mph. Wireless system that works with your motorized awning (motor model AT45MR only) Settings for desired thresholds of wind speed (three levels) Easy to setup Should be placed within 10 feet of awning Warning Should be used as added protection only! Awning arms can still potentially be damaged while awning tries to retract back towards your home. Never leave your awning open while unattended. This model has the Sun Sensor as well. Must keep the Sun Sensor setting at “0” as it will conflict with the Wind Sensor.
