WBEX34MF-KIT006+DB This kit contains: 1 x Water Butt Extension 3/4" BSP (EXTENSION34BSPM-F) 1 x Nut (BUTT34BSPM-NUT) 2 x Washers (BUTT34BSPM-WASHER) 1 x White PVC Tap (GTM3412PVC) 1 x 27mm HSS Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter (DB27MM) The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to enhance the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, this connector provides a convenient 50mm extension, making it easier to fill watering cans or attach a hose. The device has a 3/4" BSP thread size which fits a 26mm hole. For installation, the connector can be effortlessly screwed into existing female threads on your container. This is an ideal solution if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. However, if your barrel lacks a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be installed by creating a hole in the desired location. Once installed, the connector extends outward by 50mm, providing ample space for attaching hoses or filling containers. This extension allows for easier access to the water stored in your barrel, enhancing the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system. Whether you are looking to improve the convenience of filling watering cans or creating a more accessible outlet for a garden hose, the water butt extension connector is an essential upgrade for any rainwater collection setup. The Back Nut and Washers in this kit are used to secure the water butt extension to a water butt. The back nut provides a secure lock, ensuring that the fitting remains in place even under pressure. The Back Nut and Washers combination is easy to install and remove, making it a practical choice for both temporary and permanent setups. The robust construction of these components ensures durability and longevity, even in demanding environments. The washers in this set play a crucial role in distributing the load evenly across the surface, which helps in preventing any potential damage or deformation that might occur during the tightening process. Additionally, the washer provides an effective seal, minimizing the risk of leaks and ensuring a watertight connection. This feature is particularly important in applications involving fluids, as it helps maintain the integrity of the system and prevents wastage. The 3/4" BSPM Plastic Tap in white and blue is an essential component for various plumbing and irrigation applications, designed to offer both durability and convenience. Featuring a BSP male inlet thread, this tap ensures a secure and leak-free connection to the water butt fitting. The tap is equipped with a hose barb outlet, which is crafted with a barb design that grips tightly onto the inside of the hose. This feature guarantees a secure and stable connection, minimizing the risk of accidental disconnections and leaks. The barb design's effectiveness lies in its ability to create a tight seal, making it ideal for both residential and commercial applications where reliability is key. Constructed from strong plastic material, the tap combines lightweight convenience with robust performance. Its resilience to corrosion and impact ensures a long-lasting solution, even in challenging environments. The 27mm HSS (High-Speed Steel) Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter is a versatile and durable tool, designed to deliver precise and efficient cutting through a variety of materials, including metal alloys, wood, and plastic. Its high-speed steel construction ensures superior heat resistance and durability, allowing for consistent performance even in demanding applications. The hole saw is engineered with sharp, evenly spaced teeth for smooth cutting and reduced effort, making it ideal for both professional and DIY projects. Its compact 27mm diameter makes it perfect for precision drilling, ensuring clean, accurate holes without causing damage to the surrounding material. This drill hole saw cutter is particularly suited for creating 3/4" BSP male thread holes, commonly used in water butt installations or similar plumbing projects. Its robust metal drill bit ensures stability and minimizes vibrations during use, while the ergonomic design allows for easy attachment to power tools. Whether you're working on a plumbing task, crafting, or repairing, this cutter provides reliability and performance. It's an essential tool for anyone needing clean, uniform holes in a variety of materials. Please note, this kit is not sold with PTFE Tape. Tape will need to be purchased separately.
