WBEX34MF-KIT005 This kit contains: 1 x Water Butt Extension ¾” BSP (EXTENSION34BSPM-F) 1 x Nut (BUTT34BSPM-NUT) 2 x Washers (BUTT34BSPM-WASHER) 1 x Double Tap (GT-D-LEVER34Q) The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to enhance the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, this connector provides a convenient 50mm extension, making it easier to fill watering cans or attach a hose. The device has a 3/4" BSP thread size which fits a 26mm hole. For installation, the connector can be effortlessly screwed into existing female threads on your container. This is an ideal solution if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. However, if your barrel lacks a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be installed by creating a hole in the desired location. Once installed, the connector extends outward by 50mm, providing ample space for attaching hoses or filling containers. This extension allows for easier access to the water stored in your barrel, enhancing the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system. Whether you are looking to improve the convenience of filling watering cans or creating a more accessible outlet for a garden hose, the water butt extension connector is an essential upgrade for any rainwater collection setup. The Back Nut and Washers in this kit are used to secure the water butt extension to a water butt. The back nut provides a secure lock, ensuring that the fitting remains in place even under pressure. The Back Nut and Washers combination is easy to install and remove, making it a practical choice for both temporary and permanent setups. The robust construction of these components ensures durability and longevity, even in demanding environments. The washers in this set play a crucial role in distributing the load evenly across the surface, which helps in preventing any potential damage or deformation that might occur during the tightening process. Additionally, the washer provides an effective seal, minimizing the risk of leaks and ensuring a watertight connection. This feature is particularly important in applications involving fluids, as it helps maintain the integrity of the system and prevents wastage. The Double Garden Tap features a robust design with a 3/4" BSP male threaded inlet, ensuring a secure fit with the water butt fitting. Crafted from high-quality brass and finished with a nickel plating, this garden tap not only offers durability but also resists corrosion and wear. Its construction allows for reliable performance in various weather conditions, making it an ideal choice for both residential and commercial gardening needs. This tap is equipped with two outlets, each offering independent control, which enhances its versatility. The first outlet includes a click-lock quick connect feature, facilitating effortless attachment of hose pipes and connectors, while the second outlet is threaded with a BSP connection and is governed by its own valve. This design allows users to operate multiple hoses simultaneously from a single water source, providing convenience and flexibility for different watering tasks. The lever handle provides straightforward on/off control for the click-lock quick connect outlet, ensuring ease of use while minimizing water wastage. The strong, durable materials and thoughtful design ensure that the tap will withstand frequent use and resist common issues like leaks or damage. Whether you're managing a large garden or simply need efficient water distribution, this double garden tap delivers both functionality and reliability. Please note, this kit is not sold with PTFE Tape. Tape will need to be purchased separately.
