WBEX12MF-KIT002+DB This kit contains: 1 x Water Butt Extension ½” BSP (EXTENSION12BSPM-F) 1 x Nut (BUTT12BSPM-NUT) 2 x Washers (BUTT12BSPM-WASHER) 1 x Brass Quick Connect Tap (GTBIB12BRASS001Q) 1 x 21mm HSS Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter (DB21MM) The water butt extension connector is a versatile accessory designed to enhance the functionality of your water butt or rain barrel. Featuring a BSP male thread on one end and a BSP female thread on the other, this connector provides a convenient 50mm outwards extension. This extension allows for easier access to the water stored in your barrel, making it easier to fill watering cans or attach a hose for example. This enhances the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system. The device has a 1/2" BSP thread size which fits a 21mm hole. For installation, the connector can be effortlessly screwed into existing female threads on your container. This is an ideal solution if your water butt already has pre-installed threads. However, if your barrel lacks a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be installed by creating a hole in the desired location. Once installed, the connector extends outward by 50mm, providing ample space for attaching hoses or filling containers. The Back Nut and Washers in this kit are used to secure the water butt extension to a water butt. The back nut provides a secure lock, ensuring that the fitting remains in place even under pressure. The Back Nut and Washers combination is easy to install and remove, making it a practical choice for both temporary and permanent setups. The robust construction of these components ensures durability and longevity, even in demanding environments. The washers in this set play a crucial role in distributing the load evenly across the surface, which helps in preventing any potential damage or deformation that might occur during the tightening process. Additionally, the washer provides an effective seal, minimizing the risk of leaks and ensuring a watertight connection. This feature is particularly important in applications involving fluids, as it helps maintain the integrity of the system and prevents wastage. The garden bib brass tap with snap-on male outlet is a versatile and robust addition to any garden setup. Designed for ease of use and durability, this tap features a simple turn on/off operation, allowing you to control the water flow with minimal effort. The sturdy brass construction ensures long-lasting performance, even in harsh outdoor conditions, making it an ideal choice for both casual and professional gardeners. One of the standout features of this tap is the snap-on click-lock quick connect outlet. This innovative design allows for the quick and efficient attachment and detachment of hose pipes and accessories. With a simple snap-on mechanism, you can easily switch between different hoses or watering tools without the need for additional fittings or complicated adjustments. This convenience not only saves time but also enhances the overall efficiency of your garden watering tasks, ensuring that you can focus more on nurturing your plants and less on managing your equipment.
