WB12-BRASS-KIT-010+ This kit contains: 1 x Water Butt Brass Connector (WB-BR-12BSPF-34BSPM) 1 x PTFE Tape Roll (PTFE) 1 x Garden Dial Plastic Tap (GT-WL-12) 1 x Two Way Tap Splitter with Valves (TC2-WAY001WL) The Water Butt 3/4" BSP Male to 1/2" BSP Female outlet is a versatile and robust fitting designed for rainwater harvesting and other fluid storage systems. Made from high-quality durable brass, this connector is built to withstand various environmental conditions and provide long-lasting performance. The device is specifically engineered to reduce from a 3/4” BSP male thread to a 1/2” BSP female thread, making it a practical solution for adapting different sizes of pipes or fittings in your water butt or container setup. If your barrel or container already features a female thread, the 3/4" BSP male connector can be directly screwed into place, providing a seamless connection. If there is no pre-existing thread, the device can be attached by creating a hole and securing it with the included washers and back nut. This method ensures a tight and reliable seal, preventing leaks and maintaining the integrity of your water storage system. To attach the device directly to a container, simply create a 26mm hole to accommodate the 3/4" BSP male thread. After removing the back nut and one washer, insert the connector through the hole, ensuring the remaining washer is on the inside of the barrel. Secure the device by tightening the nut. The washer provides an additional layer of protection against leaks. This easy-to-install fitting is an essential component for anyone looking to customize or upgrade their water storage solutions, offering both flexibility and durability. At the outlet, the connector is equipped with Click-Lock Quick Connect technology, allowing for fast and secure hose connections. This innovative feature ensures a reliable seal, preventing leaks and making it easy to switch between different hoses or attachments without hassle. With two outlets available from a single water source, this connector offers increased functionality, making it perfect for multi-zone irrigation, garden watering, or other water distribution needs. Each outlet is fitted with an independent control valve, giving you precise control over the water flow from each outlet. This feature allows for efficient water management, enabling you to tailor the flow rate to specific tasks or areas of your garden. Constructed from strong, durable materials, the Double Tap Connector with Valves is built to withstand regular use and harsh outdoor conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability. PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) tape, also known as thread seal or plumber's tape, is a highly versatile tool widely used in plumbing, piping, and sealing applications. Its primary function is to provide a reliable, leak-proof seal between threaded pipe fittings, preventing the escape of gases or liquids. Simple to apply by hand, PTFE tape conforms easily to pipe threads, making it ideal for tight spaces and complex configurations. Made from high-quality Polytetrafluoroethylene, the tape is resistant to heat, chemicals, and high pressure, making it suitable for demanding environments and a go-to solution for plumbers, engineers, and maintenance professionals.
