WB34-BRASS-KIT-026+DB+ This kit contains: 1 x Water Butt Brass 1" BSP Male - 3/4" BSP Female (WB-BR-34BSPF-1BSPM) 1 x PTFE Tape Roll (PTFE) 1 x Brass In-Line Valve 3/4" BSPF-M (BR-TC-V-34BSPF-M) 1 x Brass Adaptor 3/4" BSP - 13mm Barb (BR-TC13B-34BSPM) 1 x 34mm HSS Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter (DB34MM) The Water Butt 1" BSP Male to 3/4" BSP Female outlet is a versatile and robust fitting designed for rainwater harvesting and other fluid storage systems. Made from high-quality durable brass, this connector is built to withstand various environmental conditions and provide long-lasting performance. The device is specifically engineered to reduce from a 1" BSP male thread to a 3/4" BSP female thread, making it a practical solution for adapting different sizes of pipes or fittings in your water butt or container setup. If your barrel or container already features a female thread, the 1" BSP male connector can be directly screwed into place, providing a seamless connection. If there is no pre-existing thread, the device can be attached by creating a hole and securing it with the included washers and back nut. This method ensures a tight and reliable seal, preventing leaks and maintaining the integrity of your water storage system. To attach the device directly to a container, simply create a 33mm hole to accommodate the 1" BSP male thread. After removing the back nut and one washer, insert the connector through the hole, ensuring the remaining washer is on the inside of the barrel. Secure the device by tightening the nut. The washer provides an additional layer of protection against leaks. This easy-to-install fitting is an essential component for anyone looking to customize or upgrade their water storage solutions, offering both flexibility and durability. The brass valve, featuring a BSP Male and Female thread, is expertly designed to control water flow in various plumbing and industrial applications. The valves threaded design allows for easy installation and removal, providing a reliable and secure connection that minimizes the risk of leaks. Constructed from high-quality, durable brass, this valve offers excellent resistance to corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Brass is renowned for its strength and longevity, ensuring that this valve will withstand the rigors of frequent operation and exposure to water and other fluids. Its robust construction ensures that the valve maintains a tight seal over time, providing consistent performance even under varying conditions. This brass valve is an essential component for controlling water flow, offering precise operation to either fully open, partially open, or completely shut off the flow. Whether used in residential plumbing, irrigation systems, or industrial setups, the valves design and material ensure reliable operation, reducing the need for frequent maintenance. Its versatility and durability make it a valuable addition to any water control system, providing peace of mind and long-term performance. A brass adaptor fitting is an essential component for connecting a hose to a pipeline, designed to ensure a secure and leak-proof joint. This particular fitting features a hose barb on one end and a BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread on the other. The hose barb end is engineered to provide a tight grip on the hose, preventing slippage and ensuring a reliable seal. Crafted from strong and durable brass, this adaptor fitting offers numerous benefits. Brass is renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance, which is crucial in various challenging environments. This resistance to rust and degradation ensures the longevity of the fitting, reducing the need for frequent replacements and maintenance. Additionally, brass provides a good balance of strength and malleability, allowing the fitting to withstand high pressure and stress without cracking or breaking. Its durability makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring reliable performance over time. Moreover, brass fittings are known for their excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to high temperatures, making them suitable for a wide range of temperatures in various applications. Furthermore, brass fittings are easy to install and tighten, ensuring a secure and precise fit with minimal effort. These properties make brass adaptor fittings a reliable and practical choice for connecting hoses to pipelines, offering durability, strength, and versatility in any setting. PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) tape, also known as thread seal or plumber's tape, is a highly versatile tool widely used in plumbing, piping, and sealing applications. Its primary function is to provide a reliable, leak-proof seal between threaded pipe fittings, preventing the escape of gases or liquids. Simple to apply by hand, PTFE tape conforms easily to pipe threads, making it ideal for tight spaces and complex configurations. Made from high-quality Polytetrafluoroethylene, the tape is resistant to heat, chemicals, and high pressure, making it suitable for demanding environments and a go-to solution for plumbers, engineers, and maintenance professionals. The 34mm HSS (High-Speed Steel) Drill Bit Hole Saw Cutter is a versatile and durable tool, designed to deliver precise and efficient cutting through a variety of materials, including metal alloys, wood, and plastic. Its high-speed steel construction ensures superior heat resistance and durability, allowing for consistent performance even in demanding applications. The hole saw is engineered with sharp, evenly spaced teeth for smooth cutting and reduced effort, making it ideal for both professional and DIY projects. Its compact 34mm diameter makes it perfect for precision drilling, ensuring clean, accurate holes without causing damage to the surrounding material. This drill hole saw cutter is particularly suited for creating 1" BSP male thread holes, commonly used in water butt installations or similar plumbing projects. Its robust metal drill bit ensures stability and minimizes vibrations during use, while the ergonomic design allows for easy attachment to power tools. Whether you're working on a plumbing task, crafting, or repairing, this cutter provides reliability and performance. It's an essential tool for anyone needing clean, uniform holes in a variety of materials.
