Vintage John Bull Tyres & Accessories Metal Advertising Shelf Strip An original vintage advertising shelf strip for John Bull Tyres & Accessories, featuring striking orange, black and white graphics. Designed to fit along the front of a shop display shelf, this narrow metal advertising strip would once have promoted John Bull tyres and motoring accessories in a garage, cycle shop or motor accessories retailer. John Bull was a well-known British rubber and tyre manufacturer with roots in Leicester, where the business was established in 1906. Believed to date from the mid-20th century, the strip is made from thin metal with a folded edge and fixing holes at either end. A lovely surviving piece of British retail advertising, particularly appealing to collectors of automobilia, vintage garage memorabilia and original shop fittings. ConditionGood original vintage condition with scratches, small areas of paint loss, minor corrosion and general age-related wear.
