Vintage County Brand Toilet Paper Roll with Hunting Scene Wrapper A scarce and evocative vintage County Brand toilet paper roll retaining its original illustrated paper wrapper. The artwork depicts a traditional English hunting scene with red-coated riders, horses and hounds in full cry, reflecting rural country life and sporting imagery popular in early 20th-century British advertising. The bold “County Brand” lettering and pastoral illustration were designed to associate the product with quality, tradition and respectability. The reverse carries printed promotional text stating that County toilet paper was made for the “discriminating buyer” and combines quality with economy, a typical marketing message of the period. As a disposable household item, examples surviving in unused condition with wrapper intact are increasingly rare and highly collectible. ConditionGood vintage condition overall. The wrapper shows edge wear, creasing, losses and surface abrasion consistent with age and storage. Colours remain visible and the hunting scene is still clear. The roll itself is intact and unused. Dimensions H: 11.5 cm x L: 8 cm x W: 7 cm EraEarly to mid 20th century, circa 1930s–1940s
