The Trigger Supply AK-47 FRT is a Gen 2 forced reset trigger kit built for AK-47, AK-74, and RPK-pattern rifles, delivering mechanically assisted resets and dramatically faster follow-up shots while staying one round per trigger pull. Every kit ships with an AK recoil buffer included — $179.99 for the complete setup, 100% USA made. Fits most AKs. Tested in PSA GF series, Century Arms VSKA, WASR-10, Arsenal, Zastava, and RPKs. Check the full AK-47 FRT compatibility chart for your exact model and any add-on parts it needs before ordering. Why the Gen 2 Kit Forced reset performance on the AK platform — the reset is driven mechanically by your rifle's cycling, not your trigger finger, for consistent, rapid resets shot after shot. Recoil buffer included free — protects your rear trunnion and internals and smooths cycling under the higher round counts an FRT invites. Broad receiver support — runs in standard AKM stamped receivers and milled receivers, with full-stroke or short-stroke bolt carriers. Rifle-caliber coverage — 7.62x39, 5.45x39, and 5.56x45 platforms. 100% USA made — machined and assembled in America. What's in the Box The four main components of the Trigger Supply AK-47 FRT kit. Trigger Supply AK FRT Kit, Gen 2 — complete forced reset system AK Recoil Buffer — included at no extra charge Any AK trigger can be used with the kit — no proprietary trigger required. Specs Spec Detail Platform AK-47, AK-74, AKM, RPK pattern rifles Receiver Standard AKM stamped or milled Bolt carrier Full-stroke or short-stroke Calibers 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 5.56x45 Generation Gen 2 kit Included AK Recoil Buffer Origin 100% USA made Compatibility and Fitment Confirmed platforms: PSA GF series, Century Arms VSKA, WASR-10, Arsenal, Zastava, and RPKs — and most AKs built on a standard AKM receiver. Some brands need a transfer bar, extended wire, or PSA-style safety lever for proper fitment; the brand-by-brand compatibility chart covers every major manufacturer and exactly what each model needs. Draco owners: the kit is compatible with the Micro Draco, Mini Draco, and full-size Draco. Installation requires a slight rear trunnion reduction with a Dremel or similar rotary tool — a few minutes of work that does not damage the pistol. Full details in our Micro Draco FRT guide. Not compatible: pistol-caliber AKs (Century NAK9, PSA AK-V) and the Saiga 12. Legality Forced reset triggers are federally legal following the May 2025 DOJ settlement, and every shot still requires a separate trigger pull. State restrictions apply in some jurisdictions — review the current landscape on our FRT legality guide before ordering. Compliance is verified on every order.
