Bringing surround-view calibration in-house, for American-market vehicles Part number TD52110055. This is TOPDON's around view monitoring target for American vehicles — the panel a car is shown so it can work out where its own cameras are aimed after a repair has moved them. TOPDON produces a separate target for European models; check the part number against the vehicles you actually work on before ordering, because the two are not interchangeable. The reason to own one rather than sublet is arithmetic. Every bumper cover, every mirror, every windscreen and every panel repair on a car with a surround-view system now carries a calibration behind it, and each one sublet is a vehicle off your premises, a day added to the job, a margin handed to somebody else and a customer whose repair you no longer entirely control. Which jobs trigger a surround-view calibration More than most people expect, and the trigger is rarely the camera itself. The system builds its overhead picture by combining several camera feeds using a fixed model of where each one sits on the body. Anything that disturbs that model invalidates it: Bumper cover removal, replacement or repair, front or rear Mirror replacement, or a mirror housing knocked out of position Windscreen and tailgate glass work where a camera is mounted Panel and structural repair anywhere a camera is attached or referenced Suspension or ride-height changes that alter the whole vehicle's attitude The customer-visible failure is a mismatched seam in the 360-degree image or parking guidelines pointing somewhere the car will not go. The failure that matters is a low-speed assistance system making decisions from a picture that no longer matches reality — and a vehicle handed back in that state after a repair you performed. What this target is, and what it is not It is a reference, not an instrument. The calibration is run by a TOPDON diagnostic tool; the target simply gives the vehicle a pattern of known geometry to measure itself against. Which is why its physical accuracy is its specification — the listing stresses durability and accuracy because a target that has warped, faded or been scuffed will still complete a calibration, and complete it wrongly. A failed calibration tells you something is wrong. A confidently incorrect one does not. It is also market-specific by design. The pattern a vehicle's routine expects is set by the manufacturer, and those routines are not common across markets even for cars that look the same on both sides of the Atlantic. A universal target would be convenient and would not work. What your bay has to provide The target does one job; the workshop does the rest. A static camera calibration generally wants a level floor, clear and unobstructed space around the vehicle so the target can sit where the routine demands, lighting that is even and free of glare or hard shadows falling across the pattern, and the vehicle itself prepared as the manufacturer requires — pressures, load, fuel state and ride height all move what the cameras see. No positioning distances, target dimensions or space requirements are published for this product, so none appear on this page. Those numbers come from the calibration routine on your scan tool, for the specific vehicle. If you need to know whether your existing bay is workable before you commit, tell us the makes you plan to cover and we will get the requirement confirmed rather than estimate it for you. Perfect For Collision and body repair shops working American-market vehicles, where the calibration is now part of nearly every camera-adjacent repair. Glass specialists already equipped for forward-camera work and extending into surround-view. General workshops with a TOPDON platform converting sublet calibration work into in-house revenue. Mobile calibration operators whose route is domestic makes. What's in the Box One calibration target. The data claims nothing beyond that, so neither will we: No scan tool or diagnostic platform is included. No stand, frame, mounting or positioning equipment is listed. This is the American-market part only; the European target is a separate purchase. Specification Part number TD52110055 Type ADAS calibration target, around view monitoring Market American vehicles Systems addressed 360-degree cameras, parking assistance Dimensions, weight and materials are not published for this product anywhere in the data we hold. That is a genuine gap rather than an oversight in this description, and we will get the figures from TOPDON on request. Certification Nothing in this product's data claims a certification or third-party approval, and nothing here implies one. For calibration equipment the meaningful test is procedural: was the calibration carried out with the target the vehicle manufacturer's routine specifies, in the conditions it specifies, and is that documented? If your work is being signed off against an insurer's or a manufacturer's requirement, verify that this is the target that requirement names before relying on it. Shipping and Delivery Shipping is calculated live at checkout for the delivery address, within the lower 48 states. Nothing is fixed into this page, because carrier prices move. Unpack and examine this one properly on arrival, before signing. A calibration target's value lives entirely in the flatness and fidelity of its printed face, so damage that would be trivial on other goods is functional damage here — look for bowing, creases, abrasion, impact marks and any distortion of the pattern, and write what you find on the carrier's paperwork with the driver present. Freight damage to a target is easy to miss and impossible to detect later from the calibrations it produces. Warranty No warranty period is recorded for this product in our data, so this page does not state one. Ask us and we will confirm it in writing; our warranty claims page covers the process. Beyond the warranty, the thing that will determine how long this target stays accurate is how you store it: flat, supported and out of direct sunlight. Leaning a target against a wall or stacking things on it introduces a bow that no inspection will catch and that will quietly bias every calibration you run afterwards.
