The Kenyan Collection - Nairobi Beaded Dog Lead Leads are not suitable for dogs that pull excessively or for dogs weighing over 50 pounds. Introducing The Nairobi Beaded Dog Lead: featuring a sophisticated zigzag pattern with a palette of grey, gold, black, white, and brown beads. The geometric design adds a modern touch, while the rich mix of colors offers a versatile and stylish look. This lead combines elegance and durability, set against a sturdy leather base, making it a refined choice for your dog. Each creation is meticulously handcrafted by skilled Maasai Mamas using premium, durable leather, with hand-cast buckles and clasps. Crafting one collar takes a Maasai Mama about a day, while a belt requires two days of dedicated beading. The beads are carefully hand-sewn onto the first layer of leather, followed by the addition of high-quality hardware and a second leather layer, which is glued and stitched for added softness and durability. Our Maasai Mamas are encouraged to infuse each piece with their personal artistic touch, preserving the rich heritage and cultural integrity of their work. This commitment to individuality means that slight variations in design are part of the charm and uniqueness of each item, ensuring that no two are ever the same. The Significance of Color: White: Reflects the purity and nourishment provided by cow’s milk, representing health and vitality. Black: Symbolizes the people’s unity, harmony, and strength in facing daily challenges. Our Products are more than just accessories—they are crafted to be cherished and enjoyed. While we keep a significant stock on hand, some items may need to be custom-made in Kenya. If your order requires production, we will notify you within 48 hours.
