The Thermal-Grip TubeSeal® Fastener from TRUFAST® is expertly engineered to provide a reliable solution for sealing blind fastener penetrations in weather-resistant barriers (WRB) and air barriers during the mechanical attachment of continuous insulation. Specifically designed for applications involving mineral wool and rigid foam insulation, this innovative fastener ensures a secure and airtight installation over WRB or air barriers. By integrating the Thermal-Grip TubeSeal®, contractors can achieve superior sealing on the facer of the WRB or air barrier, effectively sandwiching it between the substrate and the continuous insulation layer to enhance overall building performance. Constructed with high-quality materials, the Thermal-Grip TubeSeal® Fastener guarantees durability and long-lasting performance in demanding construction environments. The washer component is made from robust polypropylene, offering excellent resistance to environmental stressors. The TubeSeal itself is crafted from resilient polyurethane, providing effective sealing properties that maintain integrity over time. Additionally, the screw is fabricated from carbon steel and finished with a proprietary exterior-grade coating, ensuring superior strength and protection against corrosion and wear. Available in a comprehensive range of sizes under the HiLo series, the Thermal-Grip TubeSeal® Fastener accommodates a variety of installation requirements, making it a versatile choice for diverse roofing and insulation projects. Its seamless integration into existing construction practices simplifies the installation process while delivering exceptional sealing performance. By choosing the Thermal-Grip TubeSeal® Fastener, builders and contractors can enhance the energy efficiency and moisture resistance of their buildings, ensuring a high-quality, durable, and efficient insulation system.
