Salmon leather is made from the skin of salmon fish, a byproduct of the food industry. It is eco-conscious, durable, and features a distinctive natural scale pattern. Is this safe for sensitive skin? Yes. The sheepskin lining and zinc alloy hardware are hypoallergenic and chosen specifically for dermal comfort. Will the surface finish change over time? As noted, slight variation is natural to organic materials. This is a characteristic of the material, not a defect, and adds to the uniqueness of each piece.
