Rotate the rug every few months for even wear. Use a rug pad underneath to prevent slipping and extend its lifespan. Some initial shedding is normal for wool pile and settles with regular vacuuming. Keep away from excessive moisture and prolonged direct sunlight; professional cleaning recommended for deep stains. Frequently Asked Questions Q: What does "hand-tufted" mean?Skilled artisans use a tufting gun to punch wool yarn through a canvas backing by hand, row by row, then finish and trim the pile. It's a handmade construction that allows for clean colour bands like these. Q: Why choose wool over a synthetic pile?Wool is naturally resilient, stain-resistant and hypoallergenic. Its fibres bounce back after being compressed, so the rug holds its shape and look even with daily use. Q: Where does a round rug work best?Round rugs soften the straight lines of furniture and define a zone — under a round dining table, at the centre of a seating group, beside a bed, or in a reading nook or entryway. Q: What size should I choose for under a dining table?Choose a diameter roughly 60 cm (2 ft) wider than your table on every side, so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. A 4-seater round table usually suits a 6x6 or 7x7 size. Q: Does this rug shed? Some initial shedding is normal for hand-tufted wool rugs and settles down after a few months of regular vacuuming. Q: Can I get a custom size?Yes, just share your preferred diameter and we'll have it made to order. Q: How long does delivery take?Ready-to-ship sizes: 12–15 days. Custom sizes: 25–35 days.
