The TAP Anti-Algae Pad (Medium) is a reliable solution for maintaining a clear pond environment. This innovative pad is designed to effectively minimise algae and blanket weed in ponds. Simply place the pad into your filter system or directly into the pond, and observe a noticeable difference, as most ponds clear within 4 days. The TAP Anti-Algae Pad works up to 4 times stronger than traditional barley straw, with each pad treating approximately 1100 gallons (5000 litres) of water. Featuring a 4-way action, this pad offers environmental, mechanical, chemical, and biological control, providing a comprehensive approach to algae management. It reduces pH levels, traps and breaks down nutrients, and employs powerful flocculating agents to combat algae growth. This makes it an ideal choice for pond enthusiasts seeking an efficient and powerful algae-fighting solution. Regular replacement is key for optimal results, with recommendations to change the pad every 3 months during the pond season. For areas with heavy algae, consider a monthly replacement.
