Pond Water Conditioner for Tap Water Safety, 16 oz Tap water contains chlorine and chloramines that kill beneficial bacteria and stress fish on contact. Supernatural PondPrep neutralizes these on contact and conditions new water before fish are exposed, making it safe for immediate use. Use it any time you add tap water to the pond: initial fills, top-offs, water changes, and emergency refills. The 16 oz bottle treats ponds up to 500 gal (1,900 L) per application. Safe Water for Fish and Biological Filters Untreated tap water does not just stress fish. It kills the beneficial bacteria in your filter, disrupting the nitrogen cycle and causing ammonia spikes. PondPrep protects both fish and filter biology simultaneously, making it an essential first step before any water addition. It also conditions water to reduce osmotic stress during large water changes.
