Bacteria Starter for Large Pond Installations, 10 lb Bulk Supernatural NewPond in the 10 lb bulk pail provides the bacterial loading needed to cycle large ponds quickly, or to supply multiple pond startups over a season. The concentrated dry formula seeds filter media and pond surfaces with the beneficial bacteria responsible for converting ammonia and nitrite, accelerating the nitrogen cycle that makes a new pond safe for fish. Bulk Supply for Large or Multiple Systems Large ponds require significant bacterial seeding to colonize the proportionally larger filter media volume and pond surface area. Underdosing during startup on a large system extends cycling time and increases the period when fish are at risk. The 10 lb bulk pail provides enough product for full-dose startup on ponds up to 10,000 gal (38,000 L) with product remaining for ongoing weekly maintenance through the initial month. Coverage Ponds up to 10,000 gal (38,000 L) startup cycle Format Dry granular Weight 10 lb (4.5 kg) Best Used New large pond builds, commercial installations, multiple pond startups Safe For Koi, goldfish, aquatic plants, wildlife How to Use Dissolve in pond water before adding to the system.
