Sunsynk Elite Power Distribution Unit and Base Key Benefits Centralises battery communication, protection and power distribution for each Sunsynk Elite stack, keeping installs tidy and easy to service. Designed to work seamlessly with Sunsynk Elite stackable 5.1 kWh batteries for fast, modular system build‑outs. IP65‑rated outdoor-ready solution when paired with compatible Elite batteries and inverters, ideal for UK commercial and light industrial sites. Product Overview The Sunsynk Elite Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and Base is the core control and connection module for each stack of Sunsynk Elite 5.1 kWh batteries. It manages communication, fusing and bus connections, so you can build safe, scalable battery towers without running separate harnesses for every module. This PDU and base is intended to be used as part of a Sunsynk Elite system with compatible Elite hybrid inverters and Elite stackable batteries. It suits logistics hubs, light industrial units, commercial offices and small warehouses looking to add modular battery storage for self‑consumption and backup. Professional installation by a qualified electrician or solar installer is strongly recommended. Key Features Dedicated PDU for each Sunsynk Elite battery stack, providing control, protection and communication for the connected 5.1 kWh battery modules. Supports multiple stackable battery modules per PDU (see battery and inverter datasheets for the exact maximum configuration). Integrated base provides a stable mounting platform for the battery stack, helping to keep the tower aligned and secure. Designed for use with Sunsynk Elite single‑phase hybrid inverters and compatible low‑voltage LiFePO4 battery modules, creating a neat, modular ESS. Suitable for indoor and, when installed to manufacturer guidelines with compatible equipment, outdoor applications thanks to the Elite system’s IP65‑rated components. Technical Specifications This section is based solely on information available from manufacturer and distributor documentation for the Sunsynk Elite range. For final design and installation, always follow the latest official datasheet and installation manual for the Sunsynk Elite PDU, batteries and inverter. Product type: Sunsynk Elite Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and Base for stackable battery system. System type: Low‑voltage LiFePO4 stack, used with Sunsynk Elite hybrid inverters and Elite 5.1 kWh battery modules. Function: Battery communication, monitoring and power distribution for a single Sunsynk Elite battery stack. Stack base: Included base forms the bottom support seat for the battery tower. Typical stack capacity: A single Elite PDU stack is commonly paired with multiple Elite 5.1 kWh modules; refer to the specific inverter and battery datasheets for maximum stackable capacity. Battery compatibility: Sunsynk Elite 5.1 kWh stackable battery modules (model family SS‑5.1kWh‑ELITE) or as specified in the latest Sunsynk Elite documentation. Inverter compatibility: Sunsynk Elite single‑phase hybrid inverters (for example, 3.6 kW, 5 kW and 7 kW Elite HYB 1P models with 40–60 V battery bus). Ingress protection (system context): Elite inverters and stack components are designed for IP65‑rated installations when installed to manufacturer guidelines; check the dedicated PDU datasheet for specific PDU rating. Typical use cases: Self‑consumption optimisation, peak‑shaving and backup power as part of a Sunsynk Elite ESS in commercial and light industrial environments. Installation: Fixed installation by a qualified electrician or solar installer familiar with Sunsynk Elite systems and local wiring regulations.
