Solarport 2 Rows 5 Columns Portrait Ground Solar Mounting Kit Pre-engineered 2-in-portrait ground mounting kit for 10 panels, ideal for commercial yards, depots and larger off-grid systems. Compatible with multiple foundation options to suit a wide range of ground conditions and UK wind and snow loads. Held in stock by Solarport for rapid deployment, with UK-based expert support from Energian. The Solarport Modular 2-in-portrait 2 rows x 5 columns kit is a ground-mounted steel framework designed to hold ten solar panels securely in open ground. It is based on Solarport’s stocked Modular system, giving you a robust, UK-designed structure that can be matched with a range of foundation types for different site conditions. Key features 2-in-portrait ground mount layout with 2 rows and 5 columns (10 modules in total), suitable for commercial and domestic-scale projects.[file:4] Modular design using universal components for straightforward planning, fast installation and easy expansion on site. Supports a wide range of panel lengths from 1650 mm to 2470 mm, with four purlins and sliding clamps to match panel clamping zones. Available with multiple foundation types including piles, ballasted bases, ground screws and anchors, so almost no terrain is off limits when engineered correctly. Designed in accordance with relevant Eurocodes for wind and snow loading and suitable for UK fundamental basic wind velocity up to 28 m/s, subject to site-specific design. Typical applications This kit is well suited to logistics yards, depots, farms, utility compounds and light industrial sites that have spare ground for small solar arrays. It can be used for offsetting building consumption, powering off-grid systems or feeding battery-backed EV chargers where a ground mount is preferred over rooftop deployment. System design and installation The framework is part of Solarport’s Modular range, which allows tables to be built in bays of two or three panels wide and installed on ground with slopes up to around 5 degrees, subject to design. System angles of 20°, 25° and 30° are available, with minimum and maximum heights defined for each tilt to keep modules clear of the ground and within structural limits. Because the correct foundation type, bay pitch and fixing details depend on local ground conditions and wind and snow loads, we recommend installation through Energian’s trusted partners or your own qualified contractor following Solarport’s design guidance. Our UK technical team can help you match this kit to your chosen modules and provide guidance to your installer.
