Frequently Asked Questions Q: What exactly is a shaggy runner?A shag runner is a long, narrow high-pile rug with long, fluffy fibres, made to fit hallways, entryways and other narrow spaces with the same plush comfort as a full-size shag rug. Q: What material is used, and is it durable?A microfiber polyester pile, chosen for its soft feel, colour retention and everyday durability — a practical alternative to wool at a friendlier price. Q: Does a shaggy runner shed? Some initial shedding is normal for shag styles, as with most high-pile rugs. Regular vacuuming (without a beater bar) settles this down over the first few weeks. Q: Is it suitable for a busy hallway? It's best suited to low-to-medium traffic hallways and entryways rather than commercial or constant-footfall areas. Q: Will it slip on my floor? For hard flooring, we recommend pairing it with a non-slip rug pad underneath for extra grip and to reduce shifting. Q: Can I get a custom length?Yes, just share your preferred dimensions and we'll have it made to order. Q: How long does delivery take?Ready-to-ship sizes: 12–15 days. Custom sizes: 25–35 days.
