Replenish™ is a scientifically crafted blend of essential salts aimed at reintroducing vital minerals removed during reverse osmosis or deionisation processes. Effective restoration of General Hardness (GH) is achieved with a balanced mix of both "soft" (sodium, potassium) and "hard" (calcium, magnesium) salts. These minerals are crucial as their deficiency may cause osmotic stress, especially impacting species naturally thriving in mineral-rich environments. Insufficient mineral levels can lead to osmotic shock, potentially resulting in rapid fish mortality. Osmotic stress is a significant risk when fish, adapted to mineral-abundant habitats, are maintained in aquariums with inadequate mineral content. This condition involves an imbalance in salt and water levels within a fish's body relative to its surrounding environment, potentially compromising osmoregulation. Chronic exposure can prove fatal, while sudden changes in water chemistry might induce osmotic shock with immediate effects. The proprietary formula in Replenish™ supports the optimal balance of salt and water, crucial for sustaining various physiological processes in fish species. Incorporating this solution effectively helps maintain the natural conditions necessary for aquatic life support systems. Key Features: Rebalances essential minerals for optimal fish health Combats osmotic stress by restoring proper mineral content Specialised blend of sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium Supports fish accustomed to mineral-rich environments Utilising Replenish™ promotes a stable and thriving aquatic environment by restoring critical mineral levels necessary for fish welfare and ecosystem balance. Specifications: Application Dose: 5 mL per 40 L (10 US Gallons) increases GH by 1 meq/L (2.8 dGH) Recommended Restoration Level: 1-2 meq/L
