Seachem CupriSorb™ is an essential filter media designed for the removal of copper and heavy metals from both freshwater and marine environments. This synthetic adsorbent specifically targets copper, including its chelated forms, and continues to perform until it changes colour to deep blue-black, indicating exhaustion. Its ability to be regenerated makes it a sustainable option for aquarium enthusiasts. Over time, it can gradually extract even settled copper residues, enabling successful invertebrate culture in tanks previously exposed to copper treatments. As a copper-specific chelating resin, CupriSorb™ offers an advantage over standard cation exchange resins, particularly in saltwater settings. Key Features: Effectively removes all forms of copper, including chelated copper. Suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. Regenerable, allowing for repeated use and long-term savings. Helps enable invertebrate culture in previously affected tanks. Outperforms traditional cation exchange resins in saltwater conditions. Seachem CupriSorb™ is indispensable for maintaining a safe aquatic environment, ensuring the protection of sensitive marine life from copper toxicity. By placing it in high water flow areas, users can maximise its efficiency and achieve optimal results. With the ability to regenerate, it stands as a cost-effective solution that keeps your aquarium thriving. Specifications: Volume: 250 ml Usage: Use 500 ml for every 1,200 L (300 gallons) to remove up to 15,000 mg (12 ppm) of copper. Regeneration: Requires soaking in muriatic acid for restoration.
