Atlas 12ASL Scissor Lift and RJ-6 Rolling Jack Combo: Decide the Mounting Before You Buy There is one decision on this package that cannot be undone afterwards, and it is not the capacity. The 12ASL installs either flush with your floor or on the surface of it, and the two are different projects. Flush mount means cutting and preparing a recess so the lift sits level with the slab and the bay is clear floor when the lift is down. Surface mount means the lift bolts to the slab as it is: faster, cheaper, movable later, with a structure standing proud of the floor. Both are supported. Only one of them is easy to change your mind about. Everything else about this package is straightforward. A 12,000 lbs scissor lift, two RJ-6 rolling jacks rated 6,000 lbs each, and 72" ramps. Flush or Surface: How to Choose Choose flush if the bay does other work when the lift is not in use, if you push tool carts and creepers across it, or if a clean floor matters to how the shop presents to customers. Choose surface if the building is leased, if the slab is not suitable for cutting, if the lift may move to another bay later, or if you want it working the week it arrives. Either way, the slab requirement is in the Atlas manual for this model and meeting it is the buyer's responsibility. Get the concrete assessed before you order, not after — that single check prevents the most expensive mistake in this category. What the Rolling Jacks Add The lift raises the vehicle; the jacks raise it off the lift. Each RJ-6 is rated 6,000 lbs, rolls along the lift structure and lifts a wheel end clear so tires, brakes and suspension can be worked on without the vehicle being repositioned. They run on air over hydraulic power, which is why they lift smoothly and why they will not work without shop air. Two are included in this package. The practical value shows up in a busy day rather than on a spec sheet. Raising one axle instead of manoeuvring the whole vehicle saves a few minutes per job; across a week of brake work it is a meaningful amount of bay time, and it is easier on the technician doing it. Ramps, and the Floor Space Nobody Allows For The ramps are 72" long. That length is what lets a low or long-wheelbase vehicle drive on without scraping, and it is also 72" of floor in front of the lift that has to stay clear. When a bay is measured on paper, the lift is usually drawn and the ramps forgotten. Measure the ramp run, then measure the approach in front of it, and check that a door can still open at the end of the bay. Perfect For General repair shops wanting one lift that covers alignment, brakes and suspension rather than a rack dedicated to one job. Leased premises, where surface mounting keeps the lift as equipment rather than a permanent alteration to somebody else's building. Tire and brake specialists, who will use the rolling jacks more than anything else on the lift. Well-equipped home garages with shop air already installed and a slab that has been checked. Specifications Lift capacity 12,000 lbs Rolling jacks Two, 6,000 lbs each Ramp length 72" Installation Flush mount or surface mount Jack operation Air over hydraulic, external air required A full dimensional and electrical table is not published on this listing. We would rather tell you that than borrow figures from a similar model — the manual on this page carries Atlas's own specification, and if a particular dimension decides whether the lift fits your bay, send us the measurement and we will get it confirmed before you order. Certification This lift is CE certified. A CE marking is a manufacturer's declaration against European directives covering static and dynamic loading. It is a real standard and it is not nothing, but it is not the same document as an independent North American third-party lift safety listing, and it should not be read as one. Most buyers will never be asked. Some are: certain insurers, fleet operators and local authorities require the North American listing by name and will not accept a European declaration instead. If that is your situation, get the requirement stated in writing and speak to us before you order so it can be checked properly. Shipping and Delivery Freight to the lower 48 states, arriving as more than one item — the lift and the two jacks ship separately. Check the count against the paperwork before the driver pulls away. Unloading is the customer's responsibility. Commercial or residential delivery is available where you have a forklift; where you do not, take terminal pickup or collect from one of our warehouse locations with your own equipment. Residential delivery carries a residential fee. Freight is quoted live at checkout using your ZIP code, so the figure shown is your real lane on the day rather than an average. Inspect the freight before signing for it. Damage written onto the bill of lading in front of the driver is a claim; damage discovered after a clean signature is an argument. Photograph anything that looks wrong, however minor it seems at the time. Warranty Warranty terms are not stated in the data for this listing, so we are not going to invent them. Ask us and we will confirm Atlas's current coverage for this model before you order; our claims process is on the warranty claims page. One rule holds regardless of the terms: do not take a suspect component apart before the claim is registered. A stripped cylinder or an opened power unit is the usual reason a real fault ends up uncovered. Photograph it where it sits, describe the symptom, and call us first. The Atlas 12ASL lift features a substantial 12,000-pound lifting capacity, ensuring it can accommodate virtually any standard vehicle encountered in a commercial or professional setting. Its open-center design provides unobstructed access to the undercarriage, allowing technicians to perform detailed inspections and comprehensive maintenance tasks without interference. These integrated components allow for smooth and accurate vehicle rotation during alignments, eliminating the need to reposition vehicles manually and significantly improving shop efficiency. Safety is a central priority in the Atlas 12ASL design. The lift features an air-operated single point lock release, which ensures that vehicles are lowered safely and smoothly, reducing the risk of accidents or vehicle damage. The system also includes multiple locking positions, providing flexibility for different service requirements and height adjustments. The extra-long 72-inch approach ramps allow vehicles with longer wheelbases to access the platform easily, while the scissor lift itself can be installed either as a flush mount or a surface mount, accommodating various shop layouts and space constraints. CE certification ensures that the lift meets rigorous international safety standards for both static and dynamic loads, giving operators confidence in its structural integrity. Complementing the 12ASL lift, the RJ-6 rolling jacks each offer 6,000-pound lifting capacity, enabling precise axle or wheel-specific lifts. This feature is particularly valuable for alignment procedures, brake servicing, or suspension work, where lifting individual wheels or axles rather than the entire vehicle improves efficiency and safety. The rolling jacks use an air-over-hydraulic system to deliver smooth, effortless lifting while minimizing operator fatigue. Adjustable lifting pads accommodate a wide range of vehicle makes and models, and the included truck adapter set extends the jacks’ capabilities to handle trucks and heavier-duty vehicles. Compact and mobile, the RJ-6 rolling jacks are easy to maneuver and store, adding versatility to the workspace without taking up unnecessary floor space. The Atlas 12ASL and RJ-6 combo is designed for maximum utility in professional environments. Its high lifting capacity, precision engineering, and versatile applications make it suitable for wheel alignments, brake and suspension repairs, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance. By combining a robust scissor lift with adjustable rolling jacks, this package allows technicians to perform tasks more efficiently, safely, and accurately, saving time and improving workflow in busy automotive shops.
