The Salifert Nitrite (NO₂) Profi-Test Kit is designed to provide highly accurate and sensitive measurements of nitrite levels in aquariums. Nitrite is toxic to fish and invertebrates, and even small amounts can be harmful. While nitrite is normally converted to nitrate during the nitrogen cycle, interruptions in this process can lead to dangerous concentrations. Regular testing ensures that nitrite levels remain under control, safeguarding your aquarium’s inhabitants. Key Features: High Sensitivity: Detects even minute traces of nitrite with clear, intense colour development. No Amine Interference: Unlike many kits, results are not affected by naturally occurring amines or amino acids. Fast Results: Full colour development within minutes for quick, reliable readings. Accurate Monitoring: Ideal for both cycling aquariums and established systems. Long-Lasting Kit: Performs approximately 60 nitrite tests. The Salifert Nitrite Profi-Test Kit provides aquarists with precise, easy-to-read results, helping to maintain a safe environment for fish and invertebrates. Essential for both new and mature aquariums, it is one of the most accurate nitrite test kits available.
