SainSmart UNO R3: This is the new Arduino Uno R3. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the Uno now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the ATMega8U2 chip. This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No drivers needed for Linux or Mac (inf file for Windows is needed and included in the Arduino IDE), and the ability to have the Uno show up as a keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc. 3.3VV/5V Supply Voltage and IO Voltage is optional. More 3.3V modules supported, such as Xbee module, Bluetooth module, RF module, GPRS module, GPS module, LCD5110 Backlight and so on, but the original version can only support 5V IO. Controller uses SMD MEGA328P-AU chip. Add A6/A7 port. SainSmart R3 can directly use the electronic building blocks on I / O port and elicit G, V, S.The Uno R3 also adds SDA and SCL pins next to the AREF. In addition, there are two new pins placed near the RESET pin. One is the IOREF that allow the shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. The other is a not connected and is reserved for future purposes. The Uno R3 works with all existing shields but can adapt to new shields which use these additional pins.Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free (currently for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux).Features: ATmega328-AU microcontroller Input voltage - 7-12V 5V Electric current : 500MA 3.3V Electric current : 50MA 14 Digital I/O Pins (6 PWM outputs) 8 Analog Inputs 32k Flash Memory 16Mhz Clock Speed Main Changes from the older version: TWI interface and the IOREF in the top and bottom connectors. This change keeps the board 100% compatible with the current boards and shields, but adds possibilities for new shields. Reset button moved from center of board to corner near USB connector. This is great; makes it much easier to access with a shield on. Larger heatsinking copper area for the LM117 regulator Uses an Atmega16U2 instead of the Atmega8U2 on the previous version. Opens up more possibilities for USB apps! Arduino can only work at 5V voltage. When it comes to 3.3V Level module, IO can’t be connected to it. The Level should be changed, like the SD card, Bluetooth module and so on.Sainsmart UNO R3 can work at 3.3V voltage by switching on the button. At this time, IO port is 3.3V and it can work with 3.3V Level module. SainSmart Motor Driver Shield: L293D is a monolithic integrated, high voltage, high current, 4-channel driver. Basically this means using this chip you can use DC motors and power supplies of up to 36 Volts, thats some pretty big motors and the chip can supply a maximum current of 600mA per channel, the L293D chip is also what’s known as a type of H-Bridge. The H-Bridge is typically an electrical circuit that enables a voltage to be applied across a load in either direction to an output, e.g. motor. 2 interface for 5V Servo connected to the Arduino's high-resolution dedicated timer - no jitter. Can drive 4 DC motors or 2 stepper motors or 2 Servo. Up to 4 bi-directional DC motors with individual 8-bit speed selection. Up to 2 stepper motors (unipolar or bipolar) with single coil, double coil or interleaved stepping. 4 H-Bridges: per bridge provides 0.6A (1.2A peak current) with thermal protection, can run motors on 4.5V to 36V DC. Pull down resistors keep motors disabled during power-up. reset button. 2 external terminal power interface, for seperate logic/motor supplies. Tested compatible for Arduino Mega, Diecimila & Duemilanove. Size:6.8cm x 5.5cm x 2cm - 2.68inch x 2.17inch x 0.79inch. SainSmart Prototype Shield:It is a great kit to new Arduino users and geeks who have sparkling ideas. You can choose to do soldering in the soldering area. You can also make good use of the mini breadboard which can save your time of soldering, to try any circuit you want to the Arduino. You also can choose to use your own breadboard.Arduino Protoytpe Shield: The small soldering area Access to a BlueSMiRF socket for wireless communication between Arduinos 2 general LEDs 1 general pushbutton switch 1 Arduino reset switch brought to top level 5V, GND, and Raw pins are exposed as well All Arduino pins are brought to the top level Mini Breadboard: 170 tie points.
