Ranger Dispenser Stand and Wheel Weight Kit Ranger Dispenser Stand and Wheel Weight Kit: a stand that keeps tape weights off the floor Adhesive tape wheel weights are supplied on rolls, and a busy tire bay tends to treat them badly — a roll on the bench, a roll in a parts bin, a roll on the floor by the balancer with its backing paper picking up grit. The consequences are small and constant: segments that will not stay stuck, weights applied to a wheel that has to come back, and a technician hunting for the roll instead of finishing the job. A dispenser stand exists to fix that one workflow problem. It holds the rolls at working height beside the balancer, keeps the tape clear of contamination, and gives the backing liner somewhere clean to peel away — so the weight that goes onto the rim is the weight the manufacturer intended, with its adhesive intact. What we can confirm about this listing, and what we cannot We would rather be straight with you than write a page full of confident detail we cannot stand behind. This product's description was generated rather than written from a Ranger specification sheet, and it is not a source we are willing to quote as fact. Here is what our own data actually establishes: Shipping weight: 100 lbs. That is from the specification block on this page and it is solid. Roll size: the current listing describes the stand as holding two rolls of steel adhesive tape weights between 10.5" and 11.5". We are reproducing that figure because it is what the listing says, and attributing it because we have not verified it against a Ranger document. If your existing rolls are a different size, send us the part number you buy and we will confirm compatibility before you order. Contents: the product is titled as a stand and wheel weight kit, and a 100 lbs. shipping weight is consistent with weights being included alongside the stand — but our data does not itemise what ships, so we will not pretend to. Ask us and we will get the packing list from Ranger. Everything else you may have read about this item elsewhere — frame finishes, base weights, tension hubs, guide bars — is not in our data, so it is not on our page. Why the two-roll arrangement is the useful part A stand that holds two rolls lets one stay in active use while the second waits as the backup. When the working roll runs out mid-job there is no trip to the stockroom and no half-balanced wheel sitting on the machine; you switch and carry on. In a bay measured on throughput that is the difference the stand actually makes, and it is the reason a dispenser is worth floor space next to a balancer. Keeping the tape elevated has a second benefit worth naming. Adhesive-backed weights fail at the bond, and the bond fails because of contamination — brake dust, tire lubricant, water on a shop floor. Tape stored off the ground and dispensed from a fixed position simply meets less of all that. Perfect For Tire shops running tape weights at volume, where roll handling is a daily annoyance. Alloy-wheel work, where tape weights are the only acceptable option and a failed bond means a comeback. Multi-bay shops that want a defined home for consumables rather than a bench that fills up.
