Poslam Ointment Jar 5oz Emergency Laboratories Apothecary Pot A striking and authentic vintage Poslam ointment jar, complete with original paper label and remaining contents. Produced by Emergency Laboratories, Jersey City, this is a classic early-to-mid 20th century pharmaceutical piece with strong apothecary appeal. The jar features a simple utilitarian form with a black screw lid and aged paper label, printed with detailed directions and ingredients. The typography and layout give it a distinctly medical, almost prescription-style aesthetic that works particularly well for collectors and display. Inside, a quantity of the original ointment remains, with a rich brown tone and thick consistency. This adds significantly to the authenticity and visual interest of the piece. The contents are original and retained purely for historical integrity and display value. A highly decorative and collectible item, ideal for apothecary displays, medical collections, or film and prop styling where genuine period detail matters. ConditionGood vintage condition with age-related wear. Label shows toning, creasing, and minor losses consistent with age. Jar and lid intact. Original contents present inside; these are included for display purposes only and are not for use. DimensionsH: 6.3 cm x D: 6.8 cm Era1930s–1940s
