Large Skimmer Net for Pond Surface Cleaning Leaves, pollen, floating seeds, and surface debris are far easier to remove when they are floating than after they sink and begin decomposing on the pond floor. This large flat-frame skimmer net clears the pond surface efficiently in a few passes, reducing the organic load that reaches the filter and breaking down the nutrient cycle that feeds algae growth. Size Large Net Profile Wide, flat frame for surface skimming Best For Surface debris: leaves, pollen, floating material How to Use Skim the surface with slow, sweeping passes, moving too fast pushes debris ahead of the net rather than catching it. Work from the windward side of the pond, skimming toward the downwind edge where debris collects naturally. Empty the net away from the pond to prevent debris from falling back in. During peak fall leaf drop, daily skimming prevents heavy organic loading and winter water quality problems. Ideal for ornamental ponds and water gardens of any size for routine surface cleaning, particularly during spring pollen season and fall leaf drop.
