Ovrion Geometric is a soft textural rug, vertical columns of grey and cream brick-like dashes creating a subtle woven grid. Product Details Construction: Hand Tufted Material: 100% Wool Colour: Grey, Cream Pattern: Vertical brick dash grid Style: Modern, Minimalist Made in: Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India Ovrion Geometric repeats short grey dashes down the field in offset columns, staggered like stacked brickwork, against a soft cream ground. The cool, tone-on-tone palette keeps the pattern quiet and textural rather than graphic, so it reads as a subtle woven surface rather than a bold print. Hand tufted with a dense, even pile, Ovrion Geometric works as a versatile neutral base that suits almost any room. Frequently Asked Questions What is a hand-tufted rug, and how is it made? Wool is punched through a stretched canvas backing by hand using a tufting gun, following a pre-drawn design. A layer of latex is applied underneath to lock the fibres in place, then a fabric backing is added for stability. Why does the pattern look like brickwork? Each column of dashes is offset from its neighbour, in the same way bricks are staggered, giving the grid a structured, architectural rhythm. Is shedding normal on a new hand-tufted rug? Yes - some loose fibre shedding in the first few months is normal for wool pile and settles down with regular vacuuming. How do I clean and maintain it? Vacuum on suction only, without a rotating brush or beater bar. Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth rather than rubbing, avoid harsh chemicals, and bring in a professional cleaner periodically. What is the pile material? 100% wool. Which room suits this rug best? Living rooms and bedrooms - the cool neutral palette works as a versatile base under almost any furniture.
