Replacement Discharge Hose for PondoVac Pond Vacuums The Oase PondoVac Classic / XPV / 2 discharge hose (part 27990) carries dirty water and sludge from the vacuum tank to your disposal area — typically a garden bed, drain, or bucket. A cracked or leaking discharge hose dumps dirty water in the wrong place and reduces the vacuum's ability to empty its tank efficiently. Complete the Waste-Water Path The discharge hose is under less pressure than the suction hose but still needs to maintain integrity to direct waste water where you want it. UV degradation and repeated bending eventually cause cracks, especially near the connection points. Replace the hose when you notice drips or soft spots. Specification Details Compatible Models PondoVac Classic, XPV, PondoVac 2 Part Number 27990 Type OEM discharge hose Installation Remove the old hose from the vacuum discharge port. Push-fit the new hose onto the port and route it to your disposal area. Confirm a snug fit and test by running the vacuum through a discharge cycle. The hose should carry waste water without leaking at the connection. Ideal for PondoVac Classic, XPV, and PondoVac 2 owners who need to replace a cracked or leaking discharge hose.
