Replacement Intake Filter for PondoVac 2 Pond Vacuums The Oase PondoVac 2 filter foam sits inside the vacuum's intake path and captures fine silt and debris during vacuuming, preventing it from clogging the pump mechanism. A saturated or deteriorated foam pad reduces suction power and lets fine particles pass through, potentially damaging internal components. Maintain Full Suction The filter foam is a consumable part — it gradually loads with fine debris that rinsing cannot fully remove. Replacing the foam restores the airflow path and suction strength. Keeping a spare foam pad in your maintenance kit means you can swap mid-job if suction drops noticeably during a large pond cleanout. Specification Details Compatible Model PondoVac 2 Type OEM intake filter foam Replacement Open the vacuum housing, remove the old foam pad, and press the new one into position. Ensure it seats fully against the retainer so no air gaps exist around the edges. Close the housing and resume vacuuming. Replace the foam whenever suction drops despite cleaning, or at the start of each season. Ideal for PondoVac 2 owners who vacuum their pond regularly and want to maintain peak suction performance.
