Replacement Drain Control for Biotec 18 and 18000 Filters The Oase Biotec 18 / 18000 drain lever is the mechanical handle that opens and closes the sludge-drain valve at the base of your filter. Over time the lever can bend, corrode, or break at the pivot, leaving you unable to flush accumulated sediment during routine cleaning. A new lever restores full drain-valve control. Quick and Reliable Operation The lever is engineered for one-hand operation — pull to open the drain and release sludge to waste, push back to close. The pivot mechanism is designed for hundreds of cycles without loosening. If your lever wobbles, sticks, or snaps, the replacement drops straight into the existing mounting point. Align the new lever onto the same pin and confirm it moves freely between the open and closed positions. No tools required. Test the drain by opening and closing it with the pump running to verify positive shutoff. Ideal for pond owners who clean their Biotec 18 or 18000 filter regularly and need reliable sludge-drain control.
