Universal Debris Basket for Biosys Skimmer Systems The Oase Biosys Skimmer+ basket (part 27696) is a universal-fit replacement that works with every AquaMax pump model compatible with the Biosys skimmer. The basket captures leaves, insects, and floating organic debris before they reach the pump impeller, preventing clogs and reducing filter maintenance downstream. Easy Access, Quick Cleaning The open-top design lets you lift, dump, and replace the basket in seconds without removing the skimmer lid or disconnecting plumbing. Fine mesh walls trap small debris while still allowing strong water flow to the pump. A cracked or deformed basket lets debris past, risking impeller damage and reduced pump life. Specification Details Compatible System Biosys Skimmer+ (all AquaMax pumps) Part Number 27696 Material UV-resistant mesh polymer Type OEM replacement basket Maintenance Empty the basket at least weekly during autumn leaf-fall and every two weeks in summer. Rinse with a garden hose to clear fine sediment from the mesh. Replace the basket when the mesh tears or the frame loses its shape. Keeping a spare basket on hand lets you swap and clean at your convenience. Ideal for any pond system that pairs a Biosys Skimmer+ with an AquaMax pump for surface-debris removal.
