Sinking Koi Food Microbe-Lift Legacy Sinking Pellets suit ponds where fish consistently feed from the bottom: newly introduced koi still settling in, fish that never made the transition to floating food, or mixed communities where bottom feeders are part of the regular population. The pellets carry the same 36% protein Summer Staple formula as the floating Legacy line, just in a format that reaches the pond floor. Nutrition That Gets to Where Your Fish Are Feeding Floating food is wasted on fish that won't come to the surface. Sinking Pellets sink within seconds and stay where bottom feeders can find them without competing with surface feeders at the top. At 36% crude protein with stabilised Vitamin C, they deliver the same nutritional quality as the rest of the Legacy lineup. The formula breaks down cleanly without clouding the water, even when fish are slow to pick up uneaten pellets. Nutrient / Spec Value Crude Protein (min.) 36% Crude Fat (min.) 6% Crude Fibre (max.) 5% Moisture (max.) 8% Pellet Type Sinking pellets Safe For Koi, goldfish, all ornamental pond fish How to Use Feed daily or 3 to 5 times per week when water temperatures are above 10°C (50°F). Offer what fish will consume within 5 to 10 minutes, then remove uneaten pellets with a net to protect water quality. During peak summer (June through August), daily feeding is appropriate for active fish. Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry location to keep pellets fresh through the season. Ideal for established koi ponds with consistent bottom feeders, ponds where new fish have been recently introduced, and any situation where surface-feeding floating food goes largely ignored.
