Water Treatment for Tabletop & Small Outdoor Fountains Microbe-Lift Small Fountain Clear is a water treatment formulated for small recirculating fountains, tabletop, patio, and indoor water features under 100 gal (380 L), where mineral scaling and cloudiness are the primary maintenance issues. One teaspoon per 95 litres (25 gallons), applied every 7 to 10 days, keeps fountain water clear and surfaces scale-free between full water changes. Longer Clean Water Life in Small Fountains Small recirculating fountains concentrate minerals rapidly as water continuously evaporates from the moving surface, creating the crusty white scale typical of tabletop fountain features. Organic debris from the environment adds to the cloudiness. Small Fountain Clear's dual-action formula prevents mineral deposits from bonding to fountain surfaces and uses bio-enzymatic activity to decompose organic material before it clouds the water, extending the interval between full drain-and-clean cycles and reducing scrubbing time when maintenance is done. Field Detail Volume 4 oz (118 mL) Dosage 5 mL (1 tsp) per 25 gal (95 L) Application Frequency Every 7 to 10 days Suitable For Fountains under 100 gal (380 L) Formula Bio-enzymatic, all-natural Safe For Birds, small fish, frogs, aquatic wildlife, pets, humans How to Use Add 5 mL (1 teaspoon) per 25 gal (95 L) of fountain capacity every 7 to 10 days. Apply with the pump running to circulate the treatment throughout the fountain. For best results, start with a clean fountain, scrub any existing scale before beginning the programme. Top up with fresh water as needed between treatments and re-dose with each full water change. For outdoor fountains during winters, drain completely before freeze-up rather than treating. Ideal for tabletop ceramic or resin fountains, small patio water features, indoor water walls and desktop fountains, and any decorative recirculating feature under 100 gal (380 L) where mineral buildup and cloudiness are recurring seasonal concerns.
