DESCRIPTION SainSmart MEGA2560 R3 In addition to all the features of the previous board, the MEGA now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the ATMega8U2 chip. This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No drivers are needed for Linux or Mac (an INF file for Windows is included in the Arduino IDE), and it has the ability to make the Uno show up as a keyboard, mouse, joystick, etc. 1.0 pinout: added SDA and SCL pins near the AREF pin and two other new pins near the RESET pin, the IOREF that allows shields to adapt to the voltage provided from the board. In the future, shields will be compatible with both boards that use AVR, operating at 5V, and the Arduino Due, which operates at 3.3V. The second one is a not connected pin, reserved for future purposes. Stronger RESET circuit. Atmega 16U2 replaces the 8U2. It is a powerful and multifunctional module for your project. The screen includes a controller SSD1289, supporting 8/16-bit data interface, and is easy to drive by many MCUs like STM32, AVR, and 8051. It is designed with a touch controller; the touch IC is ADS7843, and the touch interface is included in the 40-pin breakout. This version of the product includes only the touch screen and touch controller. Size: 3.2 inch 240 x 320 QVGA resolutions. 65K true to life colors. TFT screen with SD card reader. The LCD has a wide viewing angle; the contrast is also very suitable. This TFT LCD Screen Module, with a 40-pin interface, includes not just an LCD screen but also touch, SD card, and flash design. So it’s a powerful extension module for your project. Attention please: SD card 100% supports Arduino Mega 2560, ARM, and 51 MCU. SD Memory supports: <=2GB. Please use Arduino Software version: 0023/0022. SainSmart TFT LCD Adjustable Shield SainSmart TFT LCD adjustable shield is 100% compatible with the Mega2560 to expand more pins and make the connection between the Mega 2560 and 3.2" LCD display easier. SainSmart 3.2 TFT LCD module works at 3.3V voltage level, and you need to use cables to connect with SainSmart Mega. This shield eliminates the hassle of using other cables; you just need to plug the module into Mega through this shield. This shield supports both 16-bit modes. The Mega board has enough pins to use the SD card and touch function simultaneously. It also has an adjustable button for the contrast of the LCD display.
