Club: Manchester United Year: 2004-2006 Brand: Nike Jersey Type: Home Size: M Player Name: Cristiano Ronaldo 7 Chest length (cm): 49 Shirt length (cm): 66 History: When Cristiano Ronaldo first signed for Manchester United in 2003/04, Sir Alex Ferguson insisted the Portuguese winger to take on the iconic number seven left vacant by David Beckham who signed for Real Madrid in the same window. This Nike Total 90 template of the United shirt moved away from the ones seen in the 2004 international tournaments. With the signing of Wayne Rooney, the club looked to build the nucleus around the two brightest talents in the world stage which coincided with United's three seasons title drought. The 2005/06 season saw the club made two significant signings in the January transfer window in Patrice Evra & Nemanja Vidic, both would go on to become club captains and legends. Cristiano Ronaldo would be a season away from reaching his peak, winning the first Ballon d'Or in 2008 as a Red Devil.
