Club: Manchester United Year: 2004/06 Brand: Nike Jersey Type: Goalkeeper Away Size: L Player Name: Tim Howard 1 Chest length (cm): 56 Shirt length (cm): 77 Condition: 8/10 History: Manchester United’s 2004/05 season was a frustrating campaign marked by inconsistency and missed opportunities. Managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, the team finished third in the Premier League behind Chelsea and Arsenal, unable to mount a serious title challenge. The season saw the exciting arrival of Wayne Rooney, who made an immediate impact, including a stunning hat-trick on his debut against Fenerbahçe in the Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo continued to grow as a dynamic attacking threat, but overall, the team struggled with injuries, defensive instability, and goalkeeping uncertainty. In Europe, United were knocked out in the Champions League Round of 16 by AC Milan. Domestically, they reached the FA Cup Final but lost to Arsenal on penalties after dominating the game. Their League Cup run ended in the semi-finals against Chelsea. Despite showing promise, the squad lacked cohesion and consistency, ending the season without silverware. It was a transitional year that hinted at better things to come. Tim Howard enjoyed a strong Premier League career, beginning with Manchester United in 2003, where he won the FA Cup and League Cup. He later became a stalwart at Everton, making over 350 league appearances. Known for his reliability, leadership, and shot-stopping, Howard remains one of the Premier League’s top American exports.
