Lanvin Éclat d'Arpège Eau de Parfum 100ml is a fresh, luminous fruity-floral created in 2002 by perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni, designed as a contemporary counterpart to Lanvin's legendary 1927 Arpège. The name means "burst of Arpège" — and the composition lives up to it: green lilac and Sicilian lemon leaves open with springtime brightness, a heart of wisteria, peach blossom and red peony adds soft floral lift, and refreshing green tea drifts into a clean drydown of white cedar, amber and gentle musk. Fragrance notes Top: Sicilian Lemon Leaves, Green Lilac, Petitgrain Heart: Wisteria, Peach Blossom, Red Peony, Chinese Osmanthus, Green Tea Base: White Cedar of Lebanon, Amber, Musk Olfactory family: Floral Fruity | Launched: 2002 The story behind Éclat d'Arpège By the early 2000s, Lanvin wanted to extend the Arpège heritage to a younger audience without competing with the classical aldehydic original. Karine Dubreuil-Sereni's brief was to create something light, modern and instantly wearable — a "burst" rather than a slow-evolving symphony. The bottle, designed by Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz, references the iconic black ball flacon of the 1927 original but in a clear glass form with a silver stopper. Who is this fragrance for? Éclat d'Arpège is one of the most popular fresh-floral EDPs in its price range — a year-round daily wear that suits women looking for something light, clean and feminine without being sweet or juvenile. Ideal for spring and summer, office and daytime wear, and anyone drawn to compositions like Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue but wanting more floral character and slightly better longevity. Specifications Size: 100ml Concentration: Eau de Parfum Gender: Women Brand: Lanvin Year: 2002 Perfumer: Karine Dubreuil-Sereni Frequently asked questions How long does Éclat d'Arpège last? Longevity is moderate — typically 4–6 hours on skin, longer on clothing. The cedar-musk base provides decent staying power for a fresh-floral. What's the difference between Arpège and Éclat d'Arpège? Arpège (1927) is a classical floral aldehyde — dense, sophisticated, evening-leaning, with a vast white-floral heart on sandalwood-vanilla. Éclat d'Arpège (2002) is a modern fruity-floral — light, bright, daytime-friendly, with green lilac, peach blossom and green tea on cedar-musk. They share a name and bottle lineage but smell very different. Is Éclat d'Arpège suitable for office wear? Yes — this is one of the safer choices for professional environments. The fragrance is light, polite, and unlikely to overwhelm. Apply moderately (2–3 sprays on pulse points).
