Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kit in Koko is a two-piece lip set pairing the brand's signature long-wearing matte liquid lipstick with a coordinating pencil lip liner. Koko (sometimes listed as Koko K) is a soft, pale-leaning pink shade — flattering, photo-friendly, and one of the kits that helped define Kylie Jenner's lip-kit phenomenon when the line launched in 2015. About Kylie Cosmetics Kylie Cosmetics was founded in 2015 by Kylie Jenner, with the original Lip Kit launch becoming one of the fastest-selling beauty product launches of the decade. The brand built its reputation on long-wear matte liquid lipsticks paired with shade-matched lip liners, and has since expanded into eyes, complexion and skincare. The Matte Lip Kit remains the signature product. What's included Matte Liquid Lipstick: 0.11 fl oz / 3.25ml of long-wearing liquid lipstick in shade Koko. Pencil Lip Liner: 0.03 oz / 1.0g of shade-matched pencil for outlining and filling in the lips. Key features Long-wearing matte finish: Up to 8 hours of comfortable wear without cracking, creasing or fading. Shade-matched liner: The lip pencil mirrors the liquid lipstick shade, so the colour stays uniform as the lipstick wears down. Sets to a true matte: The liquid lipstick dries down to a non-tacky finish that holds shape against drinks and food. Buildable opacity: One coat for soft colour; two for full opaque coverage. Shade — Koko Koko is a pale, milky pink — soft and flattering, sitting at the lighter end of the brand's pink range. It works well as a daytime or "your-lips-but-better" shade and can be paired with a stronger, more pigmented liner for a deliberately ombré effect. Suits a wide range of skin tones, particularly fair to medium with cool to neutral undertones. How to use Start with clean, slightly exfoliated lips. Apply a balm if your lips are dry, then blot off any excess before lining. Trace the natural shape of the lips with the Koko pencil, slightly outside the line for a subtly fuller look or precisely on it for a clean finish. Fill in the entire lip with the liner — this acts as a base coat and helps the liquid lipstick wear evenly. Apply one coat of the matte liquid lipstick from the centre outwards, using the doe-foot applicator. Allow to dry fully (about 60 seconds) before pressing the lips together; do not blot, which lifts the formula. For maximum wear, layer a second light coat after the first has set.
