Katool KT-RJ60: a rolling jack matched to one lift, on purpose A four-post lift holds a vehicle by its tires, which is excellent for storage, inspection and exhaust work and useless the moment you need a wheel off. A rolling jack is what converts it: it bridges the runways, picks the vehicle up off its own tires, and turns a drive-on lift into a wheels-free one. The thing that decides whether a rolling jack is a good purchase or a running annoyance is fit. The KT-RJ60 is built for the Katool KT-4H150 and is sold on that basis. There is no adapter kit to source, no rail spacing to measure against a specification sheet you cannot find, and no question of whether the frame will sit square on your runways. It adds 6,000 lbs of lifting capacity to a lift you already own. Why compatibility is the specification that matters Rolling jacks look interchangeable and are not. They have to span the exact inside width of the runways, sit low enough to roll beneath a vehicle that is already up on the lift, and locate positively rather than balancing on two edges. Get any of that wrong and you own a piece of equipment that either does not fit at all or fits badly, which is worse - a jack that sits slightly proud of one rail is a jack that can shift under load. Buying the model built for your lift removes the entire question. For a KT-4H150 owner the KT-RJ60 is the part that was designed to go there, and that is the whole reason it is a separate model rather than a universal accessory. What 6,000 lbs of additional capacity is for The rating is not the vehicle's weight. A rolling jack lifts one end of a vehicle at a time, taking a share of the total rather than all of it, so the capacity figure describes what the jack takes off the runways in a single lift. At 6,000 lbs the KT-RJ60 covers passenger cars, light trucks and performance vehicles comfortably within the class of work a four-post alignment lift is bought for. In practice that means wheel and tire work, brake service, suspension adjustment and axle work can all be done without moving the vehicle to another bay or dropping it back down to the floor. The vehicle stays where it is; the wheels come free; the job gets done at working height. Positioning, locking and the working day The KT-RJ60 rolls into position beneath the vehicle and locks securely before lifting begins, with locking mechanisms that hold it in place while the work is carried out. The frame is reinforced at the points that take the load, and the lifting platform is designed to make stable contact with the vehicle's own lift points rather than gripping wherever it lands. A low-profile design is what lets it get under a vehicle without a fight. Those are ordinary requirements and they are the right ones. A rolling jack is used dozens of times a week by someone who is not thinking about it, so the qualities that matter are that it rolls easily, locates the same way every time, and holds where it is put. Perfect For Shops already running a KT-4H150 that want wheels-free service without a second lift. Alignment and tire bays where a wheel has to come off on a lift bought primarily for drive-on work. Brake and suspension work that would otherwise mean moving the vehicle to a two-post bay. Space-constrained workshops that need a second capability out of a lift they already have rather than a second lift they have nowhere to put. Certification, stated plainly This product's data claims no third-party North American safety listing, and this page will not imply one it does not hold. That distinction matters more for lifting equipment than for most shop tools, because some commercial insurance policies, some fleet and municipal operations and some local jurisdictions specifically require a named listing on equipment that holds a vehicle in the air. If any of those apply to your shop, verify the requirement with the party that imposes it before you buy, and ask us what documentation the manufacturer supplies. Whatever the paperwork says, a rolling jack is only as safe as its contact with the vehicle's designated lift points and the lift it is used on. Warranty Katool's warranty document governs coverage and this listing does not restate its terms, so ask us for the current copy if it bears on your decision. One rule holds whatever the terms are: do not dismantle a faulty unit before a claim has been opened. Equipment that has already been taken apart is very hard to claim on, however obvious the fault appeared to be. Shipping and delivery The KT-RJ60 ships as freight within the lower 48 states, and it is a heavy crated item rather than a parcel. Freight is calculated live at checkout against the address you enter, so what you see is the carrier's current rate. Unloading is the receiver's responsibility, so plan for a forklift or a suitable machine, or choose a terminal pickup - frequently the simpler option, because the terminal already has the equipment on site. Choosing residential delivery adds a residential fee at checkout. Look the crate over before you sign. Note crushed corners, torn wrapping, shifted banding or any sign of a drop on the bill of lading while the driver is present, and photograph what you find. Signing clean is the carrier's evidence that the shipment arrived in good condition. Pick Up and Delivery Call, text, or chat with us if you have questions. 866-774-7743
