The Juwel Bioflow Filter Super is an effective internal filtering solution for aquariums up to 150 litres. This internal filter system leverages the principle "The water should stay in the aquarium!", ensuring that water filtration is both safe and efficient. Its design eliminates the need for hose connections, minimising leakage risks and reducing energy loss caused by friction. The Bioflow Filter Super is equipped with a high-performance Eccoflow pump, rated at 300 litres per hour, making it an ideal choice for maintaining crystal clear water in your tank. The filter features a large filter volume that accommodates multiple types of media, allowing for comprehensive mechanical, chemical, and biological filtering. The system supports bipolar water currents, providing rapid mechanical and chemical filtration in the upper section and slower flow in the lower section to foster the growth of essential anaerobic bacteria for biological filtering. This design makes maintenance quick and hassle-free, allowing you to remove and clean filter media with ease. Compatible with Juwel heaters (sold separately), the Bioflow Super supports optimal heat distribution across your aquarium, promoting a stable aquatic environment for fish and plants. The filter system includes specialized filter media for a thorough cleaning process: filter floss for pre-filtration, an active charcoal filter for odour and chemical removal, Nitrax for reducing harmful metabolites, and fine filter sponges for biological filtering in an anaerobic zone.
