Joop! Homme Wild Eau de Toilette 125ml is a smoky, gourmand-tinted reinterpretation of the iconic 1989 Joop! Homme, launched in 2012 and signed by perfumer Aliénor Massenet. A bright pink pepper opening leads into a heart of warm rum, before settling into a long-wearing base of blonde tobacco and warm woody notes — a more grown-up, slightly leather-rooted twist on the original Joop! Homme DNA. About Joop! Joop! is a German fashion brand founded in 1986 by designer Wolfgang Joop in Hamburg. The fragrance line, produced under licence by Coty, has been a fixture of European men's perfumery since Joop! Homme launched in 1989. Homme Wild was developed for 2012 as a moodier, woodier counterpart to the original — the classical sweet floral-oriental DNA reimagined for a slightly grown-up, evening-leaning audience. Fragrance notes Top: Pink Pepper Heart: Rum Base: Blonde Tobacco, Woody Notes Olfactory family: Oriental Fougère | Launched: 2012 | Perfumer: Aliénor Massenet Who it's for Joop! Homme Wild suits men who want a confident, slightly indulgent evening signature with a smoky tobacco-and-rum drydown. The composition is at its best in autumn and winter, ideal for date-night, dinner and party contexts. Anyone drawn to fragrances such as Bentley Intense or Yves Saint Laurent La Nuit de l'Homme will recognise the territory. The 125ml format is a particularly economical size for daily wear over the long term. How to wear it Spray onto pulse points — the inner wrists, sides of the neck and chest — from around 15 cm away. Apply to clean, moisturised skin straight after a shower for the longest wear. Two to three sprays balance well; the tobacco-and-wood drydown develops over the first hour and rewards a moderate, considered hand.
